This camera has been rated as one of the best game and trail cameras based on design, ease of use, overall performance, and build quality.P. Johnson: So far, so good. These things can be temperamental but after the first 24 hours prelim testing all is well. At 16 MP on default settings the pictures are crisp, have a quick capture speed and reflect the activity in our yard as promised. We are getting vivid color pics on daytime setting and very good black & white on nighttime setting. The camera takes a standard PNY 32 GB card as you would find in most stores, so there's no need for a card speed of 4 or 10 for the camera to work. Our gun security lock worked great with the two holes provided. no extra cabling is needed. There is a brief period of fog up on the lens at dusk as we are in fall with temps going from 50's to 30's overnight. We're very happy with this product so far. Will report back if we have any problems.

Esmeralda: I use this to keep tabs on my yard, day and night. The image at night is quite good, and yes, the deer come by about 4am. They don't stay long. The image quality is excellent and I appreciate seeing what is going on. Easy to set up. Instructions are good. I did have to go to youtube to figure out how to unlatch the battery compartment, but that wasn't too much trouble. This is a good purchase for the price.

DerickDerick: I have a whole collection of cameras that range from Spypoint to some no name Chinese cameras, this Winghome camera is as good if not better than some of my higher end cameras. I put this camera out a couple of weeks ago to see what kind of deer traffic I had in a creek bottom, the camera definitely didn't disappoint as it captured everything that came through. The camera blends in good with the trees in my area and is built very sturdy, I'm very impressed with the build quality. Its very easy to setup and user friendly as the layout and buttons are self explanatory. The camera isn't overly sensitive but it catches all the animal activity while ignoring unwanted movement such as leaves and weeds that might be getting blown around by the wind. I captured pictures of squirrel, racoons, coyote and deer. The pictures are higher quality than a lot of my other cameras both at night and during the day. The trigger speed is really fast and doesn't miss much movement at all. I am extremely satisfied with this product and will be purchasing more as needed. Don't hesitate to buy this camera, Its the real deal and will not disappoint. Buy it !!!!1

Skipjack68Skipjack68: I think this is a nice camera for the money. However, there are some things you have to get use to. First, it uses a European(?) Date marker, with the month first followed by the day, instead of month, day, year. Also, the time is displayed in hours, minutes, and seconds. So in setting the date, it is very easy to get it mixed up if you are used to our system. When setting delay, it's very easy to confuse seconds with minutes. Once you get by that, it works well but that has caused me to have to return to the camera and reset the date and delay time. That's all behind me now.
The camera takes very nice pictures. I have bought a second one. The pictures I have downloaded above were not set for the highest pixel pictures, but you can see they're quite good. The night pictures are not bad either. On my newest camera, I have been running the highest pixel count, and you can tell a little difference. The other difference from my other cameras, and my last purchase was probably my 15th-17th camera purchase over the last 15 years., Is the difference in the lens setting. You can see by the posted pictures, that it has a wide view lens, which moves the center focus a little further back...

Amazon Customer: I bought [another] one of these because of my success with my first one - purchased about 6 years ago. Sadly, this one did not last very long: the little power cord inside was just long enough to get pinched in the hinge when I last closed it - thereby letting water fill up the case. In spite of my remediation effots - it's dead now.
Overall, I liked it well enough - motion detector a little skittish and night vision could be brighter, but all-in-all, it takes good-ish pics at night and great pics during the day. I never use the video feature, so I cannot comment. It is well made - EXCEPT for the aforementioned power cord issue - and my original is running strong. I like it takes 12 AA batteries so I don't have to change them very often. Also, the camo on the case appears quite durable with no noticble changes since I bought it.
Having said all that, I bought a more advanced camera this time that has 4.3 stars and was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. We'll see how that works out...
