Product snapped together just like the instructions. It did take two people, I snapped the edges together while my husband pulled it onto the metal plate.

I disliked very much that you had to hold the two ends together to install into track. It should be one solid top to slide into garage door groove. Even with three of us, the furthes we got was about 8 feet of the 16. Ended up putting the old one back and just cut a piece to complete the seal. We wasted 2 hours trying to get that in.

This is a P bulb type seal which ships flat and the round bead is in two interlocking halves. When I installed it it was very hard to keep the interlocking parts together and I don't think mine are all completely interlocked. If I was designing this, I'd get rid of the interlocking and just have flat places for the two halves to mate. The channel would hold them together. Hope that makes sense and good luck. BTW I used WD40 which helped the bead slide in.

It took me about an hour to remove the old, hard weather seal and install the new seal. I used soapy water and pulled and pushed the Windsor seal through the single slot on the bottom of the door. The seal is working!
