When we retired our drip coffee maker after my wife moved to morning tea and me to an Aeropress for coffee, I searched for an all stainless water kettle and found this little jewel. I wanted to wait to add this review so now using this for 4 months, here are my thoughts. Great little goose neck kettle. Heats room temperature water to a rolling boil within a couple of minutes and of course a bit quicker for lower temps. I do like the selection of temps but was dubious of their accuracy. I checked the temperature of the water in the kettle at each temp setting using a wireless meat temperature probe previously checked for accuracy. Surprisingly, each of the preset temps were within a degree or so with 4 of them spot on! (btw..the altitude where we live is a whopping 60' msl) Not that a couple of degrees either way is a deal breaker, but I wanted to know.
Some reviews have stated that the temp selection/buttons become unreadable/unreliable/unusable but we have not experienced any of this thus far. The kettle "remembers" the last temperature used which is nice. Simple to use..just select the temp, press the on button and the keep warm button. The kettle...

Edgar Alejandro Navarro Garcia: Tarda mucho en llegar a la temperatura deseada y la función de hervir no cuenta con apagado automático lo cual la vuelve peligrosa.

I just love that it makes just the right amount of boiling water for me, just over 3 cups in just about 3mins.
The handle is easy to hold and the pour is smooth and flow of water is gentle and just right over delicate loose tea leaves.
This lovely kettle is just right size on the counter, it does not take up very much space, which is perfect.
The gooseneck is elegant yet practical and fits so well in my daily life. I don't know how I ever lived without presets before!
If you read no further, I have very please I purchased this kettle and will by another one for a gift for my mother.
my two bits of feedback
1. The Max indicator on the inside; for those of us who are left handed, I always seem to have the kettle facing the 'wrong way' and when I open the lid to pour the water to 'max line' you can only see it from one side. I...

S.O. : Temperature settings were nice, heated fairly quickly, and good gooseneck design. However after about 1.5 years, it started turning itself on for some reason. I think it’s because a bit of water got onto the buttons a few times during its use, so maybe there is a short somewhere in the base. Considering it’s a kitchen appliance that is often used around water, I thought it would be more durable than this. Worried it’s going to be a fire hazard, so I will be retiring this kettle. I’ve had much cheaper kettles I’ve used for way longer. It’s a shame, because the construction of the kettle itself is solid.
(Edit)
Decided to take it apart, before throwing it away - I thought maybe there was limescale or a small dot of water or something on the buttons that was shorting the circuits. Only to discover, there was a BUG living inside the base! 🤢
It must have been turning on the buttons from inside the base these last couple of weeks. Anyways , sprayed the whole thing down with rubbing alcohol, killed the bug, cleaned the interior, and dried it out. Once it was put back together, it worked like normal. No more mysteriously turning itself...
