Amazon Basics Electric Glass and Steel Kettle for Hot Tea and Water

KVD: I did a lot of research on electric tea kettles. I saw this one in a smaller version when visiting someone. And with all of the good reviews and getting to try it out myself several times, I'm so glad I ended up with this one. I use it every day and so far, it's holding up well.

Rockslide: As represented, only better. We've had another hot pot for years - very tough to see, lid didn't open well for refilling, slow to heat, hidden fill indicator, etc. Dumped it for this new pot and it's even better than we expected! Beautiful clear design, fill amount indicator is readable and quite easy to use, blue light comes on when pot is heating (an added bonus), quick to heat to a boil, auto shut off at temp or when tripped or lifted from the stand. All around a very well-designed product and a pleasure to use!

Christina Pinkerton: When my HB kettle went out, I went to Amazon to ensure a speedy replacement. Mind you, I use my kettle multiple times a day. It rarely goes cold for long. I fill it with filtered water from the fridge and the old kettle could be filled just by pushing it up to the fridge. This Amazon kettle has a lip on it and is unable to be filled that way which almost made me want to return it. However…the amazon kettle heats like a dream! I’m not exactly sure what the difference is and why it works so much better. Worth mention is that it sits a little wonky on the base, but is totally sturdy and works well. For the price point I didn’t let that bother me. Amazon makes an exceptional kettle.

cindy nunery: If you are impatient and don't like to wait for the water to boil.......then this is for you! I didn't realize how helpful this was until I finally bought one...........so glad I did. Just think about how you plan to use it before you decide on the size. If all you need it for is to heat water for tea, coffee, instant oatmeal....etc.... then the smaller size would be just fine. But if you like to cook a lot of soups, or speed up the process of making pasta...etc......then the larger one would be more helpful. No real waiting necessary..........the boiling is fast. A real compliment to any kitchen.

Jen: Tenia otra tetera mas chiquita de amazon basic que me encantaba pero una amigo la quemo pensando que se tenia que calentar en la estufa.....RIP :(

Pero viendo una oportunidad me compre esta ya que estaba en promocion:
1- Me encanta su tamaño ya que puedo calentar tes para mucha gente a la vez
2- La calidad es perfecta, me encanta que sea de vidrio no deja olores y puedo ver cuando es tiempo de descalcificarla ya que donde vivo el agua es muy mineralizada.
3- El efecto con el color azul es muy bonito
4- Se apaga automáticamente cuando el agua llega a ebullición
5- Recomiendo bien seguir la linea marcando el limite de agua a poner, vi muchos comentarios diciendo que se rebaso el agua, si uno respeta esta linea no pasa eso.
