Santosh Raja: The book is overall amazing, however I did come across many cons that I could not visibly see upon ordering the product. To begin with, the size of the book was appalling I was expecting a much bigger version and the product showcase was not efficient or understanding at all. When reading, the experience is not good whatsoever, having too hold the pages & upholding a fear of ripping the pages when reading. Annotating the book was another pure nightmare as I had no space to write my explanations on. From what I have assessed, the product makers should continuously put this product to trial, as this was not good impression whatsoever, they must consider other point of views other than the product looking good.

Mike Powers: I was recently offered a role in a local community theater production of William Shakespeare’s “The Tragedy of Macbeth.” The play’s director encouraged all actors to gain a deeper understanding of Shakespeare’s words, to better perform each part. He suggested a book entitled “SparkNotes No Fear Shakespeare – Macbeth” as a guide.
I purchased a paperback copy of “No Fear Shakespeare – Macbeth,” and I am very pleased with it. This wonderful little book is set up with Shakespeare’s original words on each left-hand page; on each right-hand page is a modern English paraphrase of the original script. While I was memorizing my lines from the left-hand pages, I quickly discovered I could learn my character’s deeper motivations for what he was saying by referring to the modern English paraphrase. As a result, I learned my lines more quickly, and am more effectively portraying my character during rehearsals.
“No Fear Shakespeare – Macbeth” also includes a full list of main characters with their descriptions, as well as occasional footnotes that help clarify the meaning of some words, phrases, and situations.

Kindle Customer: I absolutely hated Shakespeare at school. To me, it was all utterly incomprehensible gobbledigook. Thus, I whiled away the lessons with a secret comic stuffed in the pages, proudly failing my English Literature 'O' level, happy that I had would never forget this rubbish as I had deliberately not learned a word of it in the space of two years of enforced study. So now, twenty-two years later, I felt somewhat embarrassed in a business course recently where the trainer made some funny anecdote about an actor not being able to see a dagger and thus giving a poor performance.. Intrigued, my search led me to the website of this book. I immediately bought it and read it enthralled, cover to cover, in the space of two days. If only we had had this at school! The book is very nicely laid out : one side of a double page is the original, the other a modern English translation. The beauty of this book is that it does not preach to you about what is important to understand for an exam; it is purely a translation. The translation makes no attempt at maintaining any of the poetic nature of the original, it is purely and simply, plain English. The side-by-side format allows you to read a passage...
