I purchased this handy lock for my scooter. I accidentally dropped it and the lock popped open. Point being, if you hit this lock hard it will just pop open. Also the plastic cover came off. I was able to snap the plastic cover back on but, it has happened more than once.

I really like the concept of this lock, however the plastic cover on the lock side keeps popping off. If it breaks, it will no longer be able to be securely fastened in the carrier.
