Liz Treviño: I bought this for a family trip to Disney World so we had something to sit on when we were waiting in line or for parades/shows to start. I was skeptical with how thin it was but honestly it’s a great bang for your buck. The folding aspect of it made it easy to carry them in the backpack. It was thick enough that uneven sitting spots like rocks or pebbles were made comfy and it made it easier to sit in the concrete floor for a long time. We used them during a cold front when everything was near freezing or below and it helped with insulation from the cold.

isabelle_tran: We put this in our travel backpack next to laptop. The airport floor can be cold if there aren't enough seats. I also have it in the car for those moments you want to sit down on wet grass. Affordable and makes life a little more enjoyable.

Cat: What seems a silly little item has solved some issues making situation more comfortable. Wet bleachers are no longer a big deal whether from a sun shower or morning dew. The same is true for sitting on my damp stone walls when working in some of my gardens. I appreciate keeping dry and there is even a bit of cushioning. I don’t mind throwing a few in the car, or carrying them in a garden tote. They weight very little and they fold up easily. So far they are holding up quite well.

Kindle Customer: I ordered the stack of 5 of these sit-pads before going snow camping with a scout troop. When I saw how small the pads were, I decided to buy a thicker, larger, more expensive Therm-a-rest sit-pad for myself, but these cheap pads are plenty good for mild weather or for children or others with small asses, and the price is hard to beat. You can always use multiple pads at the same time to get more cushioning and coverage. During cold weather camping, put a pad (or two or three) in the bottom of your camping chair for insulation and your tuchus will be happy. Also, add some of these sit-pads under your sleeping pad for greater padding and heat retention under your hip and shoulder.

Mr.Y: I purchased the 5pcs set for $15.99. That comes out to $3.20/each. For that price, it does what it's supposed to do (and possibly more). I read all the review before purchasing and there was a general consensus that while the padding is a bit thin and not necessarily durable, for $3 and change, you get what you pay for. I would definitely agree. I've already placed a small strip of duct tape on each of the seams where it folds to help lengthen its usable life. I figure if I can get at least 10 uses out of it, it was well worth the money. Part of the value proposition of these foam pads is that if it were to get dirty, ripped, soiled, burned, etc....that you can easily replace it with another one. For that, I give it 5 stars. Yes, there are probably better (ie, thicker or bigger) foam pads out there, but this was a great value proposition that works fine for me.
