Roy Hobbs: I got this sleeping mat to use for a week-long camping trip and it did the job. It was super quick and easy to set up at night and pack up in the morning, which was very nice. It is a little on the thinner side compared to some other more expensive sleeping mats that I've seen in stores, but it still provided a pretty good level of comfort for the price. It is fairly durable from what I can tell, although I have only used it for 7-8 nights of camping.

ANITA MULLINS BROWN: My first and hopefully only time camping and sleeping on gravel, but this sleeping pad felt like a perfect mattress. I slept perfectly on my first night. I'm using it on a futon temporally and with this pad, it's better than my own bed.

Robert Brenenstuhl: This pad works. Its not the most luxurious thing to sleep on, but it's certainly better then the ground, and it folds up to a reasonable size in it's bag. No real complaints. I knew that it would be more comfortable to stack two of them, but I didn't have the extra space in the car, so it is what it is. You won't do much better for the price.

Andrew: This thing is light, that's the only good thing I can say about it. I took this backpacking over the weekend and took this pad to save some weight, which it did. However it was not comfortable at all, offering very little cushion under my sleeping bag. I guess if you happen to find a perfect campsite with a nice mossy or grassy spot to set up on, this pad may do the trick to keep the moisture off you. If there's any hard pack dirt under your sleeping area, you'll know about it. Ill definitely be going back to using a higher end inflatable pad. This may be a good supplemental pad for going under an inflatable, but I'll probably wind up cutting this pad up to make seat cushions to bring camping. All in all my opinion is to either put this under an inflatable, or just spend the extra money for a reputable inflatable, a good night's rest is worth every penny.
*UPDATE* - after seeing my review the company contacted me and offered me a refund or replacement product free of charge thinking it may have been defective. They also let me keep the original. I opted for the replacement, which is no better than the first, but I will still use it to put under my inflatable pad. The customer...

123: UPDATE: The seller was very attentive and responsive. They saw my comment and offered a refund and asked how to resolve the problem. They clearly care about their customers and product. 5 stars for customer service. As an above comment tried to explain, these arent supposed to feel like a matrtess- obviously. If you are expecting to feel like youre in a bed on your backpacking trip you will be sorely mistaken no matter what you bring. This mattress DOES keep you warm. If you are going backpacking you NEED a pad not for comfort but for warmth and safety. This pad does 100% provide warmth.

This sleeping pad is incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on. It does help minutely with heat loss to the ground, and it is long and light. However, it is a stiff material as opposed to its competitor which has give and cushion to it. It is worth the extra $10 to buy the name brand. This is not comfortable - it is almost better to sleep on softly packed soil than on this. I would return for a refund if it is possible after being used for a camping trip.
