Mark: Was hesitant to try a brand I’ve never experienced as most people know Brita and PUR when talking about drinking water filters. Pretty good filter for the money. The instructions didn’t lay out exactly what to do but after trial and error with the parts provided I figured out what to do for my particular faucet. All the parts provided should fit most faucets except the ones specifically prohibited by the manufacturer. If you follow the instructions and do a little trial and error the installation is a piece of cake. Keep the extra parts in case you move and have different faucets. The taste is much better and I find myself drinking more than just tap. The downside is there is no filter change light indicator but you send a text to a number provided and the company will text you when it’s time to change the filter (based on time, not usage). Not a perfect system but compared to competition the price is very reasonable to pay extra for just a filter change indicator. Just mark down the date you started and use judgement on how much water you drink from it and change it when you feel it’s right. Good enough.

SusanSusan: I love this filter - meaning, the speed at which water comes out when using the filter and the taste of the water after it's been filtered. However, it is not designed for my faucet. The silver piece that you're supposed to put over the faucet itself is too small for my (very typical) faucet, making it come loose far too often and making it a pain to tighten because there's so little space to tighten. It's a constant battle. I was going to send it back but I was a day late. Ugh. Oh well. Just beware that your faucet should be slenderer than mine or the silver piece will not cooperate.

#1 Bon Bon Queen: I love my water filter. It does all it is described and more. It has outlasted my "name brand" filter so long, I am amazed. I bought it to replace my old name branded one, because they kept falling apart and figured why not? I know how the others work, not so well, in my opinion.
I am very happy with this filter and will buy new replacement filters for it, when I need them, but so far, I have never had to replace the first one. That makes them well worth the money, in my book.

I just had to write more about this water filter, and say it is living up to my expectations and more. I bought it to replace an old Pur one, and this one is so much nicer, works better, sits on the top of the faucet better and doesn't need to be turned as the way to filter is to turn a small latch.
I like it because the filter inside lasts so much longer than the Pur one, and it filters out any of the nasties that I have seen in my water before, I have city water, YUCK!!
When I change the filters the filters are all brown like mud, and really do look bad. But they last about 3-4 months each which makes them much better than any other filter I have owned, up to this one.

Ty: One issue with this product that causes leaking. I have a faucet with outside threads. When attaching the filter adapter to the faucet, the
adapter was was too thick so that I ran out of threads before the silicone washer was compressed enough to stop leaks. Other reviewers I believe are having the same issue. To better explain the problem the outside threads on my faucet has 5 threads when the adapter has 8 internal threads so that when tightened the adapter runs up against the faucet. I solved this issue by sanding down the adapter so that when tightened it compressed the supplied washer enough to stop leaking. To solve this the manufacturer could supply 2 washers of a different thickness to compensate for faucet variations. Filter is well built. Water tastes great. This is why it still gets 4 stars.

Kenneth Smith: I found this so easy to install. There were a few washers that came with it as well as 4-6 adapters. Each adapter was designed to have a place that goes up into the faucet where the washer went, that kept it in place. A key, or plastic piece ressembling a key fit in two slots on the adapter allowing it to screw in very easy. And the outer ring that screwed down onto the unit itself was easy and needed no extra tools like pliers, pipe wrench or channel locks. You do have to unscrew the cover over the filter to remove the shrink wrap plastic around the filter. Once the unit was installed , in less than 10 minutes once you have the right adapter, I found no leaks on the first go round setting it up.
However I do find that there is one drawback to the unit. The lever, switch to go from unfiltered to filtered water, (Up is filtered BTW), I feel that it should be something that once you shut the faucet off and the lever is on filtered setting, it would be feasible for it to reset back to normal function. I have a 2.5 gallon reservoir I keep in my fridge for cold filtered water and as I just filled it with fresh clean, impurity-free water, I nearly forgot the lever was in the up...
