This is the best wood burner detailer I’ve used so far. It does exactly what it says. I actually use this one more now , don’t have to change the end and it has one setting which is nice. Simple and easy to use.

I bought this (mostly on a whim) for crafting and I love it! I burned names into wooden spoon handles for Christmas presents and am hoping to find more craft projects to use it with. As someone with no prior knowledge of wood burning, the price was right and it does exactly what I need it to. It says to let it heat up for "4-5 minutes" but I wait about 10 because it burns better, and does not heat up all the way in 4 minutes. The handle gets warm near the end, but not to hot to touch. I'd like if the pen had different tips, but as for something to "get started", this is fantastic.

Great little tool. We have a few wood cigar boxes to engrave for gifts (kids project). Works well. Hot enough, easy to use, writes great. Just give about 5 mins to get it to a right temperature. It doesn't come with a safe-keeping box, so get your own. We didn't want to invest into an expensive tool, because don't expect to use it much, but for our little project it was a good choice: simple (kid could use it) and cheap.

Very fun and easy to use. The tip broke off after a few uses. I recommend getting a few replacement tips, but I can't complain for the price. Be careful with the tip.
