Claude: I was impressed with the quality

Jeff: Pushes and pulls air quietly and efficiently.
The carbon filtration is excellent.
I'd definitely recommend the Vivosun products to friends and family.

I'd purchase again if needed.

Jeff King: It seems to be made cheap. I know I don't want to use the vent hose that came with this.

Judi: Works great and fits perfect in tent

sean: When all is said and done, the fan is ok. It's creating a good negative pressure in a 3x3x6 but it felt used as it came with no usable instructions. Everything already together. Probably should have gone with a product 50 or 60 more in price.

DanDan: We use it to evacuate cigarette smoke and smell. Came ready for and easy install. Perfect for seasonal use as we will dismantle in the summer to re assemble in the fall. Various sizes, our 10’ by 12’ shelter takes approximately 3 mins to clear with the 6 inch system.

Steven H. GoldbergSteven H. Goldberg: Just got everything hooked up and it seems to be working well. The products are solid.

The picture shows the fold-out stand for the temp/humidity gauge (which fortunately I don't need), and the tiny plastic clip that broke off when I opened it.

The duct tubing has a 6" opening and so does the exhaust fan. The tubing should just slide over the fan outlet so you can tighten the clamps. It doesn't b/c they're the same size! So you have to deform the tubing to get it over the fan outlet enough that the clamp can barely hold on. I think mine's stable enough, but this is crappy design.

Finally, the lack of any useful instructions whatsoever was frustrating. Yes, this is a simple installation, but there wasn't one decent diagram of the set up. The useless insert is for the fan only, and its diagram shows 2 duct tubings, but the product comes with one. Even the Vivosun product videos are terrible. An IKEA-type diagram would be simple to do.

But I'd buy it again.

Marlene: If noise isn't a problem then you might be alright. Too loud for me and doesn't seem to be that well made(fan blades are very fragile). I'm buying an ac infinity like I should have the first time.

JeenyusPeteJeenyusPete: I really like this kit, for the price, amazing. I seen a review on here that got me interested in this kit. I own a few Vivosun products already and I really like them dispute what some people have been saying about the brand, I haven’t been let down yet. So I was initially looking at 4” lots because well money became a factor but necessity was also present so I decided budget was where I wanted to go for now, maybe upgrade later. Well to my surprise this kit was cheaper then most 4” kits from other brands, so I have it a whirl, worst that could happen I’d have to send it back. It showed up super fast, SUPER FAST. Pretty much next day. The fan itself is very light but solid molded plastic housing makes for a sturdy light addition. The filter super nice, super strong, came with prefilter sock and straps, again impeccable design of quality, beauty and strength. The extension tube, I read some people saying it was paper thin and terrible etc... it’s actually really good quality if you know these tubes from installing say driers and such. If you want though get a hard plastic portable AC tube to replace it but you really don’t need to. The fan if placed inside the grow...

Tony S.: This is total overkill for my 32x20x62in vivosun tent. The 4" filter kit is $20 less, so I can't justify the cost for the smaller one. I literally turn this unit on to suck out the stale air when I am about recycle my co2 or hand water my plants. So it clears out the funk, and then I turn it off to co2 flood my grow area. Is it needed? If you are growing weed & the smell is an issue, yes! If you are growing & it smells musky or like dirt & well that's not good, then yes! If these 2 scenarios do not cause issue in your immediate situation, and you want to save $200? Then you def do not need this item. It sucks my tent inwards on the lowest setting, but it's fine as long as if I use the 4" inline fan for air intake first (on max), then I can turn the 6" filter on after to chase out the stale used air, & then I just shut them both off & do whatever I have to do. That's how I use it based on my scenario. But if you want this on all the time (why I can't understand b/c ur filtering out co2) then you need a big tent bc this thing really really sucks! In a good way! lol
