I purchased this blender to replace my existing blender by another popular manufacturer that had started to malfunction after only a year.
After some research I heard about VitaMix, and that some people had had theirs for years. In the age of planned obsolescence l, I really try to find items that are high quality and will last (or can be repaired). VitaMix had a good reputation for many years so I took a chance and ordered this blender in used condition from Amazon Warehouse Deals at a significant discount.
First, the blender arrived - despite description - in basically brand new condition (Thanks Amazon!) apart from some scuffing and wear on the box. The blender is heavy and appears well-made. It weighs more than my old blender and feels more solid. As advertised, the low profile of the 7500 means it fits under the counter.
In terms of actual blending, I highly recommend this machine. While my old blender had more blades positioned on a removable tube, the VitaMix has a single blade but far outperforms in terms of blend quality.

Use this every day for green smoothies and it blends to a fantastic consistency. It has no problem blending the ingredients for the smoothie which are spinach, oranges, chia seeds, flax seeds, honey, avocado, blueberry, milk, water, blueberries. It takes about a minute to turn all of these into a smooth consistency.
It is also excellent for soups as well. It is loud but very powerful. I always follow the cleaning instructions which are simple. Certainly would recommend. Huge step up from my ninja professional. Got in on a great sale during prime day (~$200 off). Noticed there was another good sale for black friday / cyber monday. if you can wait, I would suggest you do so.

I love this blender. I had an older vitamix and after 25 years it started to burn out. I was ready for a new one. This is the best blender you will buy and just consider it an investment. I use this blender every day. I make my smoothies but I add things like Kale which will burn up other brands of blenders. I add Ice which the Vitamix blender blends up easily. I fill the container to the top and flip the switch and with in a couple minutes I have a well blended smoothie. I put a straw in my drink or drink it strait from the glass. Other blenders can not compete and you will chew your smoothie rather than drink it. I like to make soups out of my left overs. The Vitamix blender will blend up and cook soups. I blend in my left over vegetables and then I add a couple of raw potatoes and it chews them up and after 8-9 min. I have a hot creamy soup. This is the most awesome blender you will own. Clean up is so easy that using it multiple times a day no issue. I rinse the container then put 2-3 inches of water in the container with 1 drop of dishsoap. turn on the blender and it washes itself. You don't realize how many different types and sizes of containers Vitamix has until you need to find parts for a specific one. I couldn't find the assembly, and a new container was $150.
