DZH: Easy change of blade assembly using a small pipe wrench instead of buying a fancy wrench to remove the nut.

Performs like it is brand new.

Lina: Took me five minutes to switch the blade with no tools. I just used a towel to hold the blade and unscrewed it with my hand from the bottom. Cannot recommend enough. Save yourself $100 and get this replacement.

J Levac: Purchased this as a warehouse deal from Amazon. The product was quite a bit cheaper than others as it was listed as used and in acceptable condition. It was said to have large cosmetic imperfections and so I was willing to put up with that, considering the price. When the container arrived, I opened the box and I seriously couldn't find 1 single flaw on this container. My only guess is that they mistakenly sent me a brand new unit instead of the used one. Very happy with the container and it works great!

Leah: Easy fix for a cracked cannister although I miss the rubber grip handle. It just wasn't worth paying an extra $100 for the rubber handle. No need for the extra tool to install the blade. My hubby just used a terry hand towel and a little elbow grease!

Sheri Soosaar: I had to replace the original jar in my Vitamix 5000 (date stamp was September 1997). I ordered this product and it is just as good if not better than the original. Identical in every dimension to the original. I saw a couple of reviews with people complaining about quality so I was a bit leery of ordering this but I'm 100% satisfied. I had already replace the blade assembly last year so it was simple to swap that into the new jar, old lid fit perfectly. This appears to be an OEM replacement part at half the cost of what Vitamix Canada is trying to charge!

lee: I purchased a Vitamix blender several years ago. At some point over the past few yrs I dropped my container and it cracked but not bad enough that I couldn't use it. I was not using my blender that often anymore so it didn't bother me that it had many dings in it and never looked clean. Since being home due to covid-19, I started using my blender more often and was realizing how nasty it looked. When I first looked a few months ago, I couldn't find anything under $80+
One day I browsed and came across this container and was happy to see that it was a more manageable price. I purchased a returned item and very pleased. When I placed it next to my old container I didn't realize how disgusting it was. I used my original lid. It fits snug but works. I also ordered the 6k blender repair kit blade which was also definitely needed. I am thankful that I have the options of getting parts so easily on amazon vs buying a new blender every so often.
