Vinyl Styl Audio Cassette Head Cleaner and Demagnetizer for Optimal Sound Quality

Colin: I have some cassette tapes that were made for me by my Brother who has since died. I also have an old tape player that unfortunately chewed up one of the tapes. I was really happy to find this product, got it, used it and it worked like a charm, the tape player was filthy but the cleaner worked like a charm. I was SO nervous putting any of my tapes in it, but now I can feel fairly confident that my tapes will survive. The cleaner also seems to have enough fluid to last for a long time, so thank you to the company that made it.
If you have an old tape machine, I highly recommend this cleaner.

Josh Thomsen: I panicked when a 4 track recorder I had just bought stopped recording on track 2. Ran this kit through it and it was good as new in one minute! Comes with plenty of cleaning solution, but you have to use your own judgement on how much life you can get out of the cassette. I’m guessing 20-30 uses? Depending on the machine? Anyway, for $10, I will buy again.

JoeK: I had a noticeable degradation of highs in all of my tapes after seconds of playing. I knew my heads were clean. But, I learned that this degradation of highs is a common problem with magnetization of tape heads. After some digging, I saw that this product not only cleans, but demagnatizes. Worked great! Listening to some great music right now!

jane e.: Tapes were warbling. I tried fast forwarding both sides trying to even out tension but that didn't work. I don't know if it was the cleaning or the demagnitizing but tapes play smoothly now.

David R. Bermudez: I have been using this cassette cleaner for 2 weeks now. I have been listening to some cassettes and cleaning every other cassette.

The Bad:
First: The package says that you need to open the bottles with a sharp object, such as a utility knife or hobby knife. If you don't have one, you rely on scissors, right? Well, I had to chop off nearly the whole tip because I could not get a sharp enough object to break through the tip. It should not be this hard to just open a bottle and use it.

Second: Although I understand the purpose of this item and how it works, the strip of tape the cleaner has seems like it's going to fail (tear apart or stretch) after repeated use.

Third: I know that manufacturers do not like to give away their secrets, but there is nothing you cannot learn these days from the internet. That being said, at least tell me what is inside the bottle. What is the solution made of? Eventually I will run out and will have to buy more. I get it, you want me to buy it from you, but I still want to know what is it that I am using to clean my equipment. You don't have to tell me the recipe, just the ingredients.
