bimoore: Shipping was fast; packaging was excellent; setup was <1 minute; blends in perfectly with kitchen backsplash and countertop; instructions are in broken English as detector was manufactured in China; the initial test confirms that the 3 stage alarm is very loud which is needed. Longevity is questionable so jury is still out in the long term functionality.

Viktoriya: Bought two of these natural gas leak detectors. Installed near the gas stove top and gas fireplace. Had a gas leak. The entire house was smelling like gas and no alarm or nothing!!! For over 40 minutes of gas leaking and not a single alarm went off even though light was blinking showing it’s working. Both detectors are in the same room. Do not waste your money.

WestJHins: One day I found my teenager was home full of the gas smell, but she was not noticed. It might be the most tragic explosion if any small lights ignited. I ordered this product that night and got it the next day thanks to Amazon. Installation was just plugged into an existing outlet a little apart from the oven. The sound was loud enough that anyone can hear and you don't even notice if that was there. Very worth every penny.

Consumee: I replaced my carbon dioxide detector with this product because it also detects natural gas leaks. I had a small gas leak on my stove burner. The carbon dioxide detector didn't react - we could get a whiff of the odor periodically. We had the leak fixed but also decided we needed the natural gas detector. The product is small, easy to install. It has a blue light which flashes every seconds to show it's working, but the light is not intrusive - we didn't notice it after a day.
