Dylan: The media could not be loaded.  This is a great hobby! I love dropping the cam down in different forested areas and seeing what comes by. This has been an extremely fun purchase. If I had to complain, I'd say the audio quality isn't always great, and it's not ideal for continuous filming over periods longer than a few minutes either. I've had it for a few months, with a 128gb card, I definitely think I'll be using this for years.

aboagaboag: This was super easy to set up and gives me daytime and nightime images that are surprisingly good for the price - enough that I bought a second one later. One hiccup out of the box was figuring out that the lithium batteries I've used in other trail cams don't work due to higher voltage. Alkalines work well though, and last at least as long as the lithiums in my old cam's. All pics so far were taken near-field so I can't comment on further away subjects or videos, but it's been perfect for capturing rarely seen events like the weasel with a mouse in the pic provided.

Joe publicJoe public: It worked fine the first time but soon after that the directional buttons started failing until I could no longer navigate the menu at all. Also the Microphone Never worked from the beginning but I could have been ok with that but now the cam is stuck on the original settings and I can no longer format the SD Card. I would steer clear of this cam unless you want a 60 dollar Paper weight.
Edit: I contacted Amazon for a return order and within a week they sent me a new Trail Cam even though it was well past the return date so because I was very happy with the first ones photo and video quality and the prompt response from customer service I upped my rating. IMHO This cam is well worth the low price and the feathers it supports.

Brad: This could be a one off but I tested with another camera and found out it doesn't take night pics and the day picks are poor quality. Settings were all correct
One camera had 249 video this one had 12 .
Will never try this one again .

Tracy LTracy L: Don't buy this. Picture quality is adequate, camera field of view is decent. Set up was straightforward, it comes with attachment accessories for mounting on a wall or tree. But that's where it ends - its doesn't record anything much of the time.

I'm missing a lot of video footage due to the poor motion sensing capability or an exceptionally slow trigger speed but I'm pretty sure it's the sensing. I have it set on High Sensitivity, but the camera still fails to capture a lot of activity, activity that I have watched take place but the camera fails to record.

I have watched a crow landing on a fence less than 10 feet away from the camera and well within the field of view, watched it march back and forth a couple of feet then fly away. This activity did not trigger the camera at all, because it all took place in the top right quadrant of the picture (see photo, red circled area.)

I moved the camera so the table is in the very centre, but time after time, this camera fails to capture the very large crow that flies in, lands on the table, eats the food and marches around there. It records when I put the food out, but not when the crow is there. The videos make it...

NoName: VIKERI B1 - a needed mention given Amazon's practice of "blending" reviews.

I am in the process of evaluating an ultrasonic cat repeller in the hope it will be effective for the purchase of four more to cover my 6000 sq ft back yard. As the dropping parties happen at night, I decided I needed another costly security camera. Not being much of a wilderness/rural person, I didn't even know there was such a thing as trail cam. Several of them showed up in my search results here and I began digging through the Game & Trail Cameras category.

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or cellular aren't on my feature list, and after a full day of exploring reviews here on Amazon, YouTube and web search results, I decided on the Vikeri B1. It's the updated version of their A1, an Amazon #1 Best Seller with almost 8500 five stars and boatloads of online reviews. As of this writing, the B1 has already garnered 82% five stars.

I can't find any fault in the feature set or configuration options. The manual is complete and an easy read.

My Samsung 128GB EVO+ µSD (aka Micro SD) card had been previously formatted in NTFS and the cam reported an error, which I expected. Selecting Format...

OhWell: The media could not be loaded.  We primarily use trail cameras to see what is causing damage around our buildings. We decided to upgrade the camera recently to get better pictures. I put the new camera on the mount and tried to aim it towards the hole, but there was no way to do this. The camera base mounts to the stand, and the camera lens is on the outside swing. Only way to see where it is pointing is to close the lid, but once closed you do not have access to display or test button. Maybe this would not be a big deal if you were pointing it a general direction, but when you are trying to aim it at an opening in the ground it does not work. I thought maybe it was just because I did not read the manual, but when I checked there is no mention of how to aim the camera. Trying to figure out how to aim the camera, the camera mount broke at the base after opening and closing the camera door a few times.

UPDATE: I upgraded the rating one star despite it has no value to me. One, I did not realize a lot of these cameras cannot be aimed. The ones I have had in the past could be, but trying to find a replacement with that option was challenging. Second, with the camera mount...
