Sam JesseeSam Jessee: So far I love the burner kit. It's light weight and easy to use. The only downside is a few of the tips were broken when I took them out of the package. Not a big deal on my end really but thought I would mention it. I tagged a couple photos of what I've done so far. I definitely like it better than the solid tip burner I used before.

BojanaBojana: I had a simple, very basic pyrography pen that I tried using to sculpt or fix 3D prints and models made with 3D pen, but since it didn't have temperature adjustment, it ran a bit too hot and was leaving brown marks in PLA, so I opted for this one. So far it worked really well to sculpt delicate pieces of 3D print that broke off while removing supports. Squirt a bit of filament with 3D pen, then use pyrography pen to shape it - worked well. But please DO NOT do this without a respirator, as it will make your lungs hurt for days! I also made this little organizer that you can grab at Thingiverse - search for pyrography tips organizer. The reading on the display should be around 28 to 32 - this will produce sufficient heat to work with PLA. I got the two pens variant and that's really helpful when I need to switch between two different tips, as that saves on time. Replacing the tip involves letting the pen cool down then unscrewing two screws, replacing the tip and putting the two screws back in. The tips heat up very fast, and actually at these low temperatures that I worked with, it doesn't take much for it to cool down and I could use my bare fingers to remove the excess filament...
