Paul L.: I put it into service in our business. The huge print and very clear LED output (which changes to red with negative numbers) are delightful to use.
It took a moment to get used to the use of "ST" and "T" instead of the familiar diamond-shape, and *. Otherwise everything's clear.
Thermal paper means the ink will never run out, nor look sloppy when I add a tape to receipts, to be reimbursed.
It was a bargain at under $80.

A BA B: The Victor Big Print 1310 desk calculator is great. It has a power cord. BIG numbers and the numbers look more like numbers than digital numbers like Sharp Desk Calculators. Shark Desk calculators need to work on their numbers. The Victor Big Print numbers turn red on the screen when it is a negative number. I like it. The Victor Big Print does have a paper roll. The paper roll (thermal paper) that comes with is a small roll so if you use paper, you need to order you some thermal paper rolls for the desk calculator. Yes, i said thermal paper for Victor Big Print. This does NOT take paper but thermal paper. I would buy Victor Big Print 1310 desk calculator again. I do wish it was cheaper.

Mary Jo: Love this Big Print Victor. The larger numbers and easy to read tape is great. Just need to get used to where the total button is. The total button on my previous calculation is where the clear button is on this one. Can't tell you how many times I cleared out my total before I got use to the button placement on this calculator.

R. Grossman: I have been setting up a new home office and wanted to get the same kind of adding machine I had at work, a standard printing adding machine. My old one had auto power off and a “000” button, both features I appreciated. I bought one, the unit randomly stopped working from time to time (hitting the reset button on the back fixed it), and the replacement had the “+” key stick after a few weeks. I decided to try a Victor unit, having had one in the past, and the large print aspect of this one appealed to me. I wasn’t crazy about the thermal paper, but I like the idea that it’s quiet and fast, so I gave it a try.
A few weeks later, I am hooked and have replaced my office adding machine with the same model. I like the larger printout, and 10 digits is usually enough for what I do. On the few occasions I’ve needed more digits, I’ve just flipped the “10/12” switch and presto! A 12 digit calculator with normal sized printout.
I like the thermal printout as well. I was concerned in not having negative numbers print in red – the display turns red, but thermal paper only prints in one color. The solution from Victor is that negative numbers print in bold,...

Brenda: While it’s advertised as “big print”, it’s only the display that is larger. Which is good enough for me.
