Mehrdad G: I got this senior year at high school and I wish I bought it earlier. On tests and exams where calculators are allowed, you wanna exploit the crap out of this, because you can and nothing or no one can stop you. If you really learn how to use it, you will be known as a math god in your classes, even though you're really not. For grade 12 calculus and advanced functions classes, these can be used to check the final answer to almost all questions. Don't hesitate, don't read another review, just click on order now. Noah: I LOVE this calculator. I am a mechanical engineering major pursuing a masters in materials science. I have been using the recommended/"required" TI-84 graphing calculator for my entire education. I bought this Casio last year and haven't looked back. It has carried me through Thermodynamics, Finite Element, Fluid Mechanics, Dynamics, Circuits and Signals, Multivariable Calc, and Modern (quantum) Physics.

Some features/qualities I love:
- The user interface is excellent. Much better than TI. I am faster on my calculator than all my friends with their expensive graphers. I can switch my calculator from real<-->complex or radians<-->degrees modes in two keystrokes.
- The price. super cheap.
- The capability. I can do matrix operations*, Phasor calculations, integration/derivation, vector math, series, base-10 to binary (or hex, oct, base-n), equation solver, etc.
- There is a library of 40 scientific constants. This was a life saver in modern physics when calculations involved 10+ different variables (masses and radii of different atomic particles, Planck's constant, speed of light, permittivity of vacuum, Bohr radius, Rydberg constant, electronvolt...

F.A.F.A.: I had used this calculator for high school for many years and just reorder it for university. I’ll list a pros and cons list after my short summary.

TLDR:

This is by far the best calculator I’ve had, it’s super easy to use and a great experience to use. It’s really nice to have the save functions (A, B, C, and so on). The cover is good to have as well, with extra functions on it. It’s accepted in most tests and exams (only one I wasn’t able to use t for was accounting, where we were only allowed a simple addition, multiplication, subtraction and divisions calculator). The keys are super tactile really nice to type and use. Overall, if you don’t lose this one, it will be a companion for many years!

Before going into pros and cons, I wanted to note that a friend of mine saw me using this and how easy and straight forward I solved finance problems in seconds (mind you I have used it for a long time, so it is second nature for me) he asked me to order one for him to replace his calculator! So I think that speaks wonders on how impressive and handy this calculator is! After all, it’s the best calculator I own!
