Alex Colon: I used this for when I got sick with a fever. I tend to be able to tell when I have a fever as my body gets colder and I am always hyper aware of any changes in my body. Whenever I feel a fever is happening, i use this to check my temperature and sure enough it is accurate. It’s also color coded to make it easier to know when you have a fever or just a normal temperature. It’s the fasted read on temperature I have gotten with these type of thermometers so I definitely recommend it.

Amazon Customer: I bought the Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer based on price point and reviews. I haven't been disappointed. I took my temperature with the Vicks thermometer and a Kinsa thermometer I got about three years ago. The readings were exactly the same. The Kinsa thermometer comes with an app so you can keep track of your temperature over time. I don't use the app, but if that's something important to you, then don't get the Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer. But if you want a basic thermometer that's easy to use and read and comes at a reasonable price, then the Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer is for you.

Barb: I bought 2 other thermometers before this one. According to the other two, I am quite dead. Although the fact that I am typing this would suggest otherwise. Which? recommended this one as being accurate. Should have read Which? before wastingly money on the other rubbish.

PB2008: The thermometer works very well and is easy to use and read. The clamshell product packaging is terrible.

The stem is smooth and flexible, making it easy to insert and use. Operation is simple. Push the button, the large display goes through a three-color (green, yellow, red) "boot" and self test, it displays the previous reading with the appropriate fever-related color backlight (green OK, yellow elevated, red possible high fever), and it then displays "Lo." Put it in place - e.g. under your tongue. Within about 5 to 6 seconds it finishes measuring, starts beeping five times (five pairs of beeps), and then displays the new reading along with the fever-related color backlight. Turn if off (it beeps one more time albeit more quietly) or leave it and it turns off after 90 seconds.

Those five pairs of beeps are pretty loud. May well awaken someone sleeping nearby. Not adjustable although (TIP!) pressing your finger over the speaker in the center of the silver label on the back helps a lot.

There is a button sequence described in the instruction sheet to change between F and C readings.

Sumit Bala: It's worth the price and the wait i had to get the product; because of it colour code display which changes depending upon the temperature my children while they where down with fever helped them to know faster and clear display helped us to see the temperature in low light.
