Kindle Customer: This is the second one I bought as I got it for my mother since I liked the one I bought from this company awhile ago. Highly recommend. To change from celsius to Fahrenheit (which I didn't recall-it's inside where you put the batteries) but there is a book as well. ;)

Blue Flash: We needed a new thermometer as our old one (mercury tube) stopped working. What an upgrade! Instant readout and seems pretty accurate, though I don't know for sure. In any case, it's way better than what we used previously.

Trillers: I bought this digital non-contact thermometer because of the price and decent reviews. However, beings I'm technologically challenged and of an older generation, I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to use it. First off, to change the setting from Celsius to Fahrenheit you have to take off the panel where the battery goes. Even more challenging than trying to get the cover off is locating this tiny switch - Ugh! By this time I was pretty frustrated. I think I reached max frustration when I tried to use the thermometer. Yes, I attempted to read the manual but it was confusing to this older generation, non-techy person. I'm sure you youngsters would have it figured out in less than 5 minutes. I will keep it since I don't use it very often. It's not so much the product as it is the person trying to use it.

Angela: No estoy muy contenta, porque depende de como lo pongas da una temperatura u otra, en casos de fiebres altas, 1° es mucha diferencia.
He tomado temperatura con este y con el de toda la vida. Y difieren bastante.

Lo compré por comodidad, pero no es exacto.

🌺 LES PÉPITES D'AMY 🌺🌺 LES PÉPITES D'AMY 🌺: Ce thermomètre arrive avec une mesure allemande, je viens de tenter de comprendre la notice qui n'est pas en français afin d'essayer de le modifier en mesure française, et je vous avoue qu'au début je pensais que ce n'était pas possible car j'ai bien eu du mal à comprendre la notice et à trouver le fonctionnement pour modifier la mesure. Un grand manque de la notice en français donc et le thermomètre devrait être mis en mesure française lorsqu'il est expédié pour la France. Vous pouvez bien sûr réclamer la notice en français au fournisseur qui vous l'enverra par e-mail selon quelques commentaires que j'ai lu mais c'est encore une perte de temps et je trouve dommage qu'il ne la fournisse pas dès lors qu'il voit bien le pays d'expédition de son produit.

Bref j'en suis quand même très contente mon ancien la mesure avait toujours presque 2° de décalage, j'ai bien comparé celui-ci a réception avec un classique et la mesure est juste. Je l'utilise à présent depuis quelques mois et mon bébé a eu de la fièvre quelques fois dû aux dents qui percent, il m'a bien indiqué lorsque la fièvre était présente.

Pete RatcliffePete Ratcliffe: I spent ages reading various reviews for pretty much every forehead thermometer available on Amazon and settled on this one for the stylish compact design along with a reasonable price and, so far, I'm glad I did.

The item, as you can see from my pictures, is exactly as described. It has a nice clear LCD screen and, more importantly, the readings seem accurate.

Because of the lack of buttons, it's a bit fiddly switching modes (hold down mute for 5 seconds to change from ℉ to ℃ etc...) plus it means you can't (well I couldn't) figure it out without reading the small instruction manual. However, that's a minor quibble as once you've set the unit of temperature you're unlikely to be chopping and changing.

I guess the same could be said for switching between checking surface and forehead temperatures as that's more likely to be switched regularly. For that, with the unit powered off, you hold down the Memory button for 3 seconds and it'll power on in surface mode. No need to switch back as it defaults to forehead mode.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend this if you're in the market for a forehead thermometer.

VolkerVolker: The media could not be loaded.  Man kennt es ja im Rahmen der Corona Berichterstattung, daß dort immer wieder mit Stirnthermometern bei Einlasskontrollen gemessen wird. Jetzt habe ich auch so eines und was soll ich sagen: es funktioniert! Man kann das Thermometer einschalten, nur wenig entfernt vor die Stirn halten, auslösen, es ertönt ein Tonsignal nach erfolger Messung und schon ist es fertig, man liest das Ergebnis ab.
Die Bedienungslanleitung ist leider nur auf englisch, da würde ich mir wünschen, daß es sowas in Deutschland nicht mehr geben würde, ich finde, wer hier verkauft sollte auch eine deutschsprachige Bedienungsanleitung beilgen müssen, ohne wenn und aber. Gut, ich konnte es nun auf englisch auch lesen, dennoch ist mir deutscher Text einfach eingängiger und verständlicher.
Man muß am Anfang das Gerät noch von Fahrenheit auf Celsius umstellen, dazu drückt man rechts die Taste für fünf Sekunden, wenn das Gerät noch aus ist, und schon ist das auch erledigt, steht aber auch so in der Bedienungsanleitung drinnen.
Man kann damit auch den Raum messen oder was auch immer, will ich aber nicht, für mich ist es für die Fiebermessung zuständig,...
