RSS: This device is easy to use but I am disappointed that the two AAA batteries required to run the device were not provided. I inserted my own batteries and the device worked immediately and accurately. The box it came in was broken and beat up and the device was not in a sealed package. It should have been enclosed in a sealed plastic bag. It was simply enclosed in an open drawstring bag like it had been used before. I am very disappointed in this. I desperately needed this device because I was taking care of a sick family member. Because this device worked, I kept it but I am not happy with the packaging.

AEP: This is easy to use and has a clear display. After comparison with another thermometer, I'd say it's accurate.
It's a plus that it uses AAA batteries; however, it doesn't work with my rechargeable Eneloop or Duracells. That's the only downside, as I have to keep buying batteries for it.

Overall, I'm satisfied with it.

Robyn H.: Now that my kids are back in school and temperature checks are required as part of their daily morning routine, I ordered this as an alternative to the ear thermometers that require expensive probe cover replacements every time you use them. I checked multiple reviews before settling on this brand, and did my own "studies" with this thermometer vs our ear thermometer. My only concern is that if you are overheated from another activity, or being outside where it is too warm or cool, it will affect your body temperature, leading to a false high or low. (Example: my daughter likes to snuggle in the morning; this caused her forehead temperature to show a low-grade fever from body heat, even when her ear temperature average was "normal." When I checked her forehead temp. again half an hour later, it was back down within normal range.

Definite pros to the unit include the ability to use this as a surface thermometer, too. The memory function that holds up to 99 previous temperatures is great. (I also took my cat's temperature and I swear I saw the screen flash "animal," though I haven't been able to replicate it.)

LiveWithTechLiveWithTech: I have one basic thermometer in the home which goes inside the mouth or underarm and measures mercury level, but with the pandemic in progress, I was a little worried about that model. Also, seeing fancy contactless ones seeing everywhere when we visit any store or shop gave a great appeal to try this. And so went ahead with this after seeing so many positive reviews. I am glad I went for this one. I am using this thermometer for a week now and super happy with the accuracy and how fast it gives the reading rather than waiting for mercury level to go up/down. Highly recommended.

My 2 cents below:

Pros:
- Works so fast and you will see the reading with a tone
- Very convenient to use with a push of the trigger button
- Temperature reading seems to be pretty accurate when I compare it with my other mercury one
- A nice and crisp LED screen which backlit GREEN/ORANGE/RED based on the temperature level. Good to have a fever Indicator as it makes really use to read it immediately and identify the risk. It even has a fever alarm
- Has both body and surface mode and works great in both with a quick toggle switch
- It has memory and stores...
