AL: I don't know why UPS companies charge so much for their batteries, but it's always been true. I always buy third party and so far I haven't had a single issue. This one is no exception, I used it in my APC Uninterruptible Power Supply and it works fine. I haven't done a total drain test on it but it has saved one of my desktops during power failures on a bad circuit in my house.

JoshJosh: This battery is exactly what was needed to get my APC UPS back up and running. What's better is that it is a 9AH battery instead of a 7AH that came with the unit when purchased new. This equates to a longer run time. The attached pictures of the original battery with the sticker pealed back to expose the specs. Save your money, no reason to go with an OEM branded battery. This stock battery just went out a couple months ago, but it did last for about 8 years, so I can't vouch for longevity yet as it was just installed today.

James C Barrows: Went to order a replacement battery for my APC ES 550G, and discovered they seem to be in short supply and it would be several weeks before I could get it. Decided to look around for aftermarket options and found this one. For half the price of the official one, I figured I would give it a try.
Very pleased with it and it is working great. Don't know if it will last as long as the official one, but for the price it's totally worth it.

AmandaAmanda: I picked up a used UPS from goodwill only to find that when I got home the battery was beyond repair.
After searching amazon I came across this replacement battery. It is much cheaper than the competitors, but so far I have had no problems with it.
I actually just had a power outage today for about 30 minutes due to a truck hitting a telephone pole near my house. This battery was able to keep my router and NAS running during the outage.
As long as the battery continues to hold up I would recommend this battery to anyone that needs a replacement. No need to spend all that extra money on an expensive name brand one when this one will do the job just fine.
NOTE: Make sure to check the connector that connects the battery to the UPS. There are 2 different sizes. Make sure to order the battery that has the correct connecctors for your particular unit.
Will buy from again in the future. (if i need to )
