Veridian 09-340 Instant Digital Ear Thermometer for Accurate Temperature Readings

Alma L Bond: I have owned this thermometer for years. It worked well at first (at least I thought) but now I know it is just a hunk of junk. I took my temp and it read 97. Went to a clinic that same morning and I had a 101.1 fever. Not a reliable product.

Kristy🖖: It's a nice looking thermometer, easy to use however the reading isn't accurate. It shows one number then when retested it fluctuates by whole digit or 2.

christy: I purchased it when I feel a fear if one day my 6 year old son will get sick as we now live in a new place. We left our old meter at home, which is also electionic and can be used in mouth and under arms etc. This time I want a different advanced one, so I choose this Digital Ear Thermometer, though it is a little expensive, it looks good. About one month later, my son caught a fever,he told me that he felt whirling that evening, then I tried this metre and it reads 100.6F. It might be that he was not good with the cream puffs he took.It was his first time to eat such food. This ear meter is really a convenient device to take his temperature any time I want. Just put in his ear, and within a second the reading is there. When temperature was above normal, the sound was long, the face at the left bottom of the screen looked sad; when normal, the sound was short, and the face smiled. It is much convenient than the old one we have, it reads faster and has a light for night use. After 4 days monitoring, my son can use it himself. It is interesting that his left ear reads higher than his right ear, for example, it reads 102.9F in his left ear while 102.4F in right....

E&Z: No matter the person, the fever, this never says anyone has a temperature above 97.5. Very inaccurate and totally worthless.
