Tina Urrutia: I bought this specifically for a beach vacation to Florida. I used it as my carry-on on the plane, took it all up and down the coast, as a bag for souvenirs, to the beach. It did not disappoint! The wet compartment is great. And the nicest surprise for me was that it holds more than I thought it would. It held up beautifully.

Amazon Junky: I picked this up on a whim before a 3 week cruise and trip to Disney World. I needed something that would carry bulky towels on a beach excursion, plus water and supplies for a long day in a theme park. I needed something a bit larger than my standard daypack, but sturdy enough to be one of my carry on items for this long trip. This product delivered. One of the zippers was a bit tight at first, but I was careful with it and soon enough it worked perfectly. I think I pushed this bag to its limit on the flight home with all the books in it.

I especially appreciated the fun print (that made it easy for my companion to spot me in crowds) and the waterproof pouch in the back. having a secure internal zippered pocket for wallet and other valuables was also appreciated.

Is it a bag you'll have for the rest of your life? no. and as others have said, it's got absolutely no structure so you have to think about how you pack it. but if you want a slightly larger daypack that isn't a full fledged mountain pack, this is a fantastic substitute.

Erica (Erica G Designs): This bag is way bigger than I expected, in a good way. I got this to replace our heavy diaper bag now that our babies are toddlers/kids, for use at theme parks. Not only did it fit all our traditional diaper bag items but there was still a ton more space. The bag is unassuming since it's so light, that it actually is quite massive.

The only downside is that it has zero structure nor padding. So if you have a ton of small, loose items in the bag or hard objects, you'll feel it. Example, kids bought a toy, in a box, and I carried it in the bag and I could feel the box corners jabbing me in the back the whole time since I didn't have anything to really pad it between me and the bag. And at one point, I had a bunch of bottled water, but as the day went on, it started to shift to the bottom of the bag and I could feel them banging onto my lower back as I walked. In our diaper bag, this wasn't an issue as it was heavily padded, but that adds weight.

So there is a give and take. Light weight, cheap, large capacity, but no structure, no padding. Great if you've stuffed it with clothes and towels for the beach though!
