Ashley K.Ashley K.: I initially bought this bag to replace my laptop bag for work. There is so much space in this bag that I can fit my laptop and portable monitor and when I travel I can fit everything I need and use it as my personal item on the plane. Fits great under the seat. It was such a great bag that I bought a second one for my highschool age daughter because she wanted the space for all her school stuff. It is durable and nice to be able to carry my work stuff with the weight evenly distributed on my back instead of over one shoulder like a normal laptop bag.

Ashley: It is literally still my favorite backpack I’ve ever owned. It’s held up very well. I love it for work (I’m a nurse) and travel! I love how it opens up, because I can see everything in the primary compartment. I don’t dig around to find things anymore. I’ve used it as my personal item (the 15,6” style) on planes many times, as my bag while at Disney (holds essentials and then has room for souvenirs!), and my day to day backpack for work. As of right now, I have zero complaints, nothing has ripped, torn, fallen apart, etc. The one thing I haven’t really tested out though is the water resistance. I’ve walked with it through some light rain, and while the bag was slightly wet/damp, everything on the inside was dry.
I don’t think I’ll buy another backpack again for a long time at this point.

IndigoJane: This black backpack has turned out to be a great bag for me. I use it every day for work. It’s very reasonably priced for the nice all-around quality, and is somewhat surprisingly highly functional. It looks professional, and I’ve gotten compliments and questions about it from fellow musicians. I really like this bag’s “doctor’s bag” type of stay-open top design. I like being able to zip open the top, and have the top stay wide open with an effective but *not too heavy* cloth covered metal support behind the seams. This turns the backpack effectively into a portable, vertical sheet music file cabinet, where it’s really easy to search through the neatly arranged, vertically-in-place music folders and find what I’m looking for quickly. I can even fit my oversized orchestra hard cover folder in this bag, without the bag itself seeming to be huge. In the past, I’ve looked at other “doctor’s bags” type of backpacks, and they were all very heavy and wouldn’t stay upright because of the overly top-balanced heavy metal frame. This bag isn’t anything like those horrible bags, with much better balance and really quite a light weight. ...

JaneJane: I have a 15.6inch gaming laptop which is thick and heavy and i haven't seen anyone review a bag with this type of laptop so here it is:

the quality is great just like all other reviews said, it's big and roomy. it can totally fit a lot of stuff. 17 inch is a better fit for people who have thicker laptop with 15.6 inch screen, it fits perfectly and it feels fine when i carry it on my back even when i put a huge charger, a mouse, a water bottle. 15.6 inch bag is for someone with a thinner laptop so if you have a thick laptop like me, you should definitely buy a 17 inch size bag.

aedammaireaedammaire: The bag is big. It fits everything I need, plus my 17 inch laptop. I like that the bag keeps it’s shape and stands upright even when empty. I often carry full water bottles for all five members of my family, and all the pockets / straps handle the heavy weight just fine. The outside water bottle pockets have stretch to them, so water bottles go in with ease. They are deep, so I’ve never had a water bottle fall out.

Despite constant heavy use / trips to playgrounds / camping trips etc the bag looks perfectly new. There’s not a single stain on the light grey material. Nothing has ever gotten wet. I really want to like this bag!

What I didn’t like about the bag was the outside pocket. The one I would intuitively use for keys / sunglasses / etc. It only had one zipper pull. This means that instead of two zipper pulls meeting at the top, the zipper pull comes to a close at the bottom of the pocket. I’m always finding it riding up, and things are trying to escape. So this very important pocket, which should get the most use, can instead only be used for cheap items that you wouldn’t worry about losing, suck as tissues. I’m also not the...

Kat10922Kat10922: I bought this bag because I needed something to carry all of my stuff when I substitute teach but I didn’t want a typical backpack. This bag is great. It has lots of pockets to organize everything. It is also very stylish, I got the grey one, which reminds me of a men’s business suit. It has black straps and faux gold zippers. It feels well made.

The large compartment has sturdy metal bars sewn into the seam along the zipper meant to hold the compartment open. They do work but there isn’t a corresponding frame at the bottom of the bag to allow it to stand upright without toppling over; you have to put something heavy enough in the bottom to do the job. The zipper extends beyond the edges of the opening and has nice sturdy tabs covering the ends. I suppose this is to accommodate opening the bag to its widest without being impeded by the zipper. Inside it has 2 padded pockets in the back. One fits my 15” HP laptop, the other my 10” iPad with its Otterbox hard shell case.
