Linton V: Easy to use, easy to clean and makes great coffee. Haven’t ever used it for tea, but I can’t imagine that wouldn’t be wonderful as well. Been using it for literally years now, and it still looks new. Elegant enough to keep out on the counter (if we had the space). Great product. Made an excellent gift for my wife who is something of a coffee snob. She loves it. I think she kinda’ digs it’s vaguely steampunk vibe too. Very happy with this indeed.

Jerby JerbJerby Jerb: I've had this thing for 2 and a half years now, and it's still going great!
This isn't a paid review, just a sincerely satisfied customer! I'm the only coffee drinker in my house, so I don't need a lot of coffee and this press has held up! I machine wash the filter and the glass pitcher almost daily and the filter is still in nearly new condition.
Only complaint; discoloration on the lid from machine washing but that's purely aesthetic and doesn't affect the product efficiency at all. Still 5 out of 5 stars.
After the first year I told myself, I'll buy another Veken when I need to, but I haven't had to and that is rare these days. Buy yourself one and also buy a friend one as a gift! I have.

Scott EvansScott Evans: So, the plastic strainer portion below the metal lid is not attached to the lid. So even though there is a little drip mark on the lid to let you know where the strainer portion is, sometimes they are not lined up because the plastic part rotates underneath the metal lid. So, I have a couple of stainless steel French Presses, but I don't like them because when you slip the screen portion in and out of the cylinder, it makes a metallic scraping sound and I hate that. But what I do like about the stainless steel ones, is, they have a solid metal lid with a slanted area and an arrow pointing to it where the coffee pours out. And because it's solid, the arrow is always lined up with the slanted area. I wondered if I could switch out the metal/plastic lid of this one with the medal lid of the stainless steel one, and guess what, I could! Now it works perfectly and looks pretty cool as well! I attached three photos of my brilliant idea. Ha!!

It’s been perfect for us! But this morning I was dumping out the grounds and the glass bottom fell out with them. Two years isn’t bad for the price point, but not sure I will be buying the same one again.
