カペイくんカペイくん: 1ヶ月くらい前に購入しました。内側のフィルターケースに、アイスコーヒー用の深煎り豆（40g程度）をミルにかけて入れ、ミネラルウォーターや浄水器の水を注いで、冷蔵庫で8時間程度保管してます。とても美味しい水出しアイスコーヒー出来ます。場所もあまり取らず、手間も少なくて、美味しい。珈琲豆の削り方でアイスコーヒーの風味が変わるのも面白くて楽しんでます。

J. B. Levin: In two years, I have used this coffee maker almost daily during hot weather. Following a couple of incidents, I discovered that with a little care in easing the lid off the carafe, the basket does not pop out and the lid stays on the filter, and I have not had anything like that happen since the early days. Here's how I use it:
1. The night before I coarse-grind and weigh 70 (± 5) grams of coffee as specified in the instructions. Sometimes this fills the filter to the top, sometimes not (apparently different varieties of coffee beans are not equally dense). Then I put the coffee maker together and add 700 ml of water (actually more, probably, since I know about where the level is, and now I just pour by eye till the water is above the bottom of the lid).
2. I start the mix by tilting the bottle 90 degrees and back 8-12 times -- it never leaks -- and popping it into the refrigerator for 8-12 hours.
3. I pop the top off the pour spout and drop in the contents of one packet of artificial sweetener (I don't use very much), replace the top and repeat the same mixing procedure as before.
4. I then half-fill a large glass from the carafe.
5. I ease the lid off the carafe...

amazake: 今年の夏は毎朝アイスコーヒーが楽しめました。構造はシンプルで洗いやすいし満タン時の持ち運びは必ずガラス部を持つことで上部の抜けに気をつけるくらいかな。良い買い物した。

Alberto Casini: Avendo scoperto nei miei viaggi estivi quello che é il vero e sano caffè freddo con il metodo di infusione lunga a freddo detto Cold Brew mi é venuta voglia di riprovare quelle sensazioni a casa.
La ditta Hario non ha bisogno di presentazioni in questo ambito essendo specializzata da decenni nella preparazione del caffè, il prodotto è davvero ben fatto ed i materiali di primo ordine dal vetro della bottiglia al filtro micrometrico e soprattutto dal top in silicone con il tappo che permette un'adeguato storage in frigorifero per potersi gustare fino ad una settimana il prodotto finale (io ci faccio 4 tazze).
A tal proposito credo che ci sia un errore sulla confezione dove indica la capacità massima di 650 ml mentre la capacità reale è di 750 ml ovvero quella classica per un ratio macinato acqua di 1:15 per un Cold Brew pronto all'uso.
Va bene anche per le tisane preparata con modalità a freddo.

Mary S.: Despite having a problem with the shipping, I give this item 4 stars overall. Making homemade iced coffee with this “cold brew wine bottle” will save me money in the long run …. less trips to the local coffee chain! This is easy to use and easy to clean and I give the taste a good score. The shipping saga: it was lost in shipping, then found after a few days and rerouted to me, only to have it delivered completely shattered with shards of glass coming through the box. Amazon made good on this, however, and told me I didn’t have to return it (in essence a box of broken glass). They replaced the broken cold brew bottle and I received the new one in 2 days all in one piece. Have been using it now for a week.

ShighBrow: I've been waiting for a warm spell to try this thing out, and I'm very impressed one week in.

First, some background: I switched over from Nespresso pods to hario pour overs about 3 years ago, and found the whole transition rewarding, in terms of flavor and experience. It expanded my interest in coffee preparation in an enjoyable way -- bean type, grind level, ground amounts, blooming, pouring technique, etc. It was also nice to develop a calming morning coffee routine, a little early morning moment of zen. Pouring the water, watching the drips, the floating grounds in changing water levels - very meditative.

But, simply dumping my hot pour overs into a cup of ice was rather disappointing -- totally ruined the richness, was impossible to calibrate everything. Even tried freezing my coffee into ice cubes! Enter this simple little device -- I've never enjoyed iced coffee more. It retains that level of control over the brewing process that pour overs provide, but is way less involved -- pushing your prep from morning to the day before, and making things a bit easier.

For anyone that is 1) ok integrating a small little fold into their daily schedule 2) has faced...
