CLCshopCLCshop: What inspired me to purchase this safety Rail was that I had two overnight guesses coming to visit. One was an elderly woman and the other person has had Back, Knee and Hip surgeries. I also have a toddler grandson who will be climbing in and out on his own soon. I decided to get one for each guest bath.
The product is very sturdy and easy to install. It clamps on like a vice would a piece of wood (grippy foam pads). I placed them on the tub where they can be hidden by the curtain but can adjusted to a new spot very easy depending on what the person using it needs. I have also found them handy when I need to lean over to clean the wall side of the tub.

Mac: The first one delivered was impossible to was to unwind manually. I didn't want to scratch it by using a pipe wrench so replaced it; am so glad I did. Thanks

lynn: We have standard height toilets at our house, and we bought this for my elderly mother-in-law who has a hard time getting up from our low seats. I was surprised at how well made and sturdy this device is. Without reading further into the details, I figured this was just a plastic device, but it's made of steel! It's a bit heavy, but man, do you feel secure grabbing it and pulling up.
It is so easy to install on the side of our bathtub, and now mom can get up without risk of falling. Furthermore, we didn't have to install a handle bar on the wall in our bathroom (which we really didn't want to do if we could avoid it). We'll call that a win-win.

Victoria C.: My mom rents so she couldn't have permanen handles in the shower. Thus product probably saved her from a fall. It is very well made and sturdy. It's the perfect solution to your problem if you can't use the suction handles because your tiles are too small. I would highly recommend this to everyone!
