Amazon Customer: I am waiting for knee surgery and every day is a painful task to get into the tub for my shower....until today! As we are renters the option of installing grab bars on the wall was not happening and I was skeptical about this tub bar, I must admit, due to my weight (220 lbs) but not now....easy to install, sturdy, secure and perfect to bear my weight....got in and out with relative ease for the first time in a long while! A must have for those of you in a similar situation!
The only reason I didn't give full marks is because this was clearly a return based on packaging and less than pristine finish on the pads but in no way is a reflection of the quality and usefullness of this product

It is so sturdy works great for my mom on and off the toilet.
I have it on one of those tub shower combination. I believe its acrylic..maybe
