Force10JohnC: I bought this because it seems like I get a tire pressure sensor alert on my vehicles about every 3 months. It's usually only a few PSI low but it costs up to $3 at convenience stations and stores. It's also nice to have in case of emergencies.

I've used it three times now and it worked like a charm every time. Once to fill up my kid's new bike tire. The other two times were to top off low tire pressure on each of my vehicles. I like the digital readout where you can set the max pressure you are looking to fill, as well as, the indicator for your current tire pressure before filling.

There are two different cords for use on the road using your vehicles cigarette lighter, and another to plug into a standard duplex outlet. I've even used this with a 25 ft extension cord and it still worked fine.

For me it takes about 15 seconds to fill 5 PSI. That's not horrible and sure beats having a flat tire or having to leave your house to top it off.

David: Like that the unit can be powered by 120v home current or 12v car current. Checked and added air to 3 vehicles using home power. The chuck did a good job of connection to stem without losing too much air. Raised a 25lb tire to 35 in 4 minutes or so. As air was added, the pressure gauge would increase in half pound increments. Just a guess, but it appears to have 2 pumps--one that runs off home power and one running off car power.

Likes: The time it took to add air was very reasonable when it was powered by home electric. I did not attempt to power it by the car adapter. However, as the instructions indicate, start the car before using the unit to avoid draining the battery.

Complaints: Two detachable cords (car and home use) come with the unit but they could be easily lost if the whole unit is not kept/stored in the box as there is no pouch for the cords, instructions or adapters. Even in daylight, the function of each of the buttons takes some experimenting. The built in pressure gauge was inaccurate by showing 2.5 to 3 lbs LOW. Tina Strano: It was easy to use. I read the manual, followed the directions and it worked great! One of my tires only had 11 psi of air. It inflated to 32 psi in about 5 minutes. The hose is plenty long enough to reach the tire stem at any position. I love that it checks the amount of air first and automatically shuts off when it reaches the set amount. The LED light feature is great. It did not move while running as I seen on some of the other products video reviews. The noise level is as I would expect, I mean it is an air compressor… I’m so glad I have this! No more driving all over looking for an air compressor that’s not out of order! Then dumping $2-4 into it. Just the peace of mind is so worth it! I think it’s a great value! Thank you for a great product.

I was impressed with this compact air pump. It's small and lightweight but also comes with a powerful motor. I was able to check and inflate all 4 tires in less than 5 min. The digital display is easy to use, allowing you to change the pressure units and value. It also conveniently comes with both AC and DC power options. The AC cord for home use is a little short, so you will need a power extension. The DC cord is sufficient, but I had to pull the air pump through the driver's side for the two left tires and then move it through the front passenger's side for the two right tires. Other than that, it's a great device that I would recommend to ensure your tires are well inflated. It also comes with attachments for basketball and bike tire inflation, which is a nice little bonus.
