Ethan: This is a quality pump. I have had other similar pumps in the past that have gotten too hot and failed. This pump is much better made, quieter, and has that solid feeling of a well made device. I plan on getting another in the near future to carry in a different vehicle. Highly recommend.

Brads Babbitt: I bought this to check and correct the tire pressure on my Southwind. I think it will work great for that purpose. It has no problem bringing the pressure up to 80 from 75 or so. It has a run time of about 10 minutes before it needs a break. So far I've been able to handle all six without a break. It's great to have the lock on chuck and the auto shut off. I can be doing other stuff while it's working away. The only negative is the storage bag. I had to buy another bag with a real zipper and a little more room. I also added a 6 ft. extension air hose to reach the back tires while clipped on to the battery in front.

Lee: I was very impressed on the amount of air this compressor put out. I have not actually used it just tested it with a jump start battery. Lot of air coming out the hose and when I restricted the air from coming out the pressure went right up to near 100 psi. Nice carring case and extention hose. Better to use longer hose than power cord. Was very quiet also. I have many compressers from small to very large, battery operated to 5 horse power 80 gallon tank. Very pleased with this one. Lee

Ok folks, this is an honest review.

I have beel looking for a 12v dc air compressor for lidterally a couple years now.
I was tired of those cheapies that either can't pump up the air while it sounds like it is going to fall apart, or just sound like they will struggle just to get a little air in the tire.

Lets face it, when you are on the road and you have a tire that needs air, what are you gonna do?

Thats where I was. I have a couple of really cheap air pumps and hoped they would work when I needed them, but I knew I had dto find something that was of better dependability.

I noticed my tire was low on air, and I was out of town. My crappy 12v air compressors were at home.
I dove into Amazon and started my continuing search for a 12v dc air compressor, but this time I HAD TO FIND ONE.

I spent the better part of a day looking for a compressor, a lot of them just didn't look like they could hold up, looking much like my crappy ones at home.
I paid a lot of attention to the reviews.

The UUP Tire Inflator is light and compact for an air inflator—which I really appreciate—but it performs like a heavyweight. It puts out a lot of air for its size. It’s built solidly, and built in such a way that there’s little that can go wrong with it.
