電動でボタンを押すだけで空気を入れられるのが、ここまで便利だとは思いませんでした
音は大きいですが、昼間なら問題ありません
8千円でやすいですが、作りが工具品質で大変頑丈です

自転車整備の手間が改善して大変満足しています

Quiksilva: Had a go by chance a couple of weeks ago on a 18v version of this at work and was impressed by the simplicity and ease of use so thought id take a punt on the 12v unit which is the makita range i use for my drills/jigsaws/drivers etc.
Today i topped up 4 car tyres and recharged 3 bikes from empty to between 40 and 85 psi on approx 50% of a 2 Ah battery,.
Light powerful and easy to use and no needing to power up the 12v socket of whatever car you are trying to inflate - recommended

Bee4Brittany: the fact that i don't have to worry about getting a tpms stick and gauge it is amazing
-has a built in gauge that's digital
-small and lightweight
-separate Battery(has its own gauge) lasts for ever!!!
- and i love the push and hold feature to inflate so theres no worrying about overfilling

Dan: I am pleased. I inflated 4 car tires from about 27-28 psi (cold) to 32 on one battery without a problem. It's a little loud for such a lightweight tool but gets the job done.

Moose: And that’s what I bought it for. Mostly for convenience. I have a big California Air compressor and I also have a small Viair compressor that I keep in my truck. But sometimes I just need to inflate my kids basketball. Or just give a little touch of air to my wife’s bike tires. This makes it so much easier. I have many, many Makita 18volt tools and several extra batteries. Always have at least two fully charged.
So I can just slip a battery in, squeeze the trigger and boom, done. Easy. Just the way I like it. Usual Makita quality-excellent. Uses the same batteries as all my other tools. Comes with a few little accessories like a needle and it has a simple gauge on it.
Look, it’s convenient for me. I think it’s also a little bit expensive for what it can do. But I’m all about easy these days.

JLS: I've read the other reviews, with many being very critical of this compressor because it's only compatible with the 12V battery. Here's my perspective: This is not a compressor designed or intended for heavy-duty use. It is meant as a high-end portable compressor for use around the house. I was searching for one to replace a cheap-feeling but VERY reliable compressor I'd had for decades... and would still be using if a certain member of the family hadn't closed a truck door on the part that inserts into the vehicle's 12V socket! Anyway, I came across this unit (sold without battery). Expensive, compared to the type of compressor I'd been using.... but we love the Makita drill we bought last year (Makita FD09Z 12V max CXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 3/8" Driver-Drill) so I was drawn to the brand... and when I realized that this tool used the same size lithium-ion batteries as our drill.... and our drill had come with two of them... well, serendipity!

I've used this Makita a few times now to familiarize myself with it. I love the feel of quality (which should be expected at this price point) and the cord-free operation. It's also very compact. I will use it to keep my car tires...
