MAK4017MAK4017: I was searching for rubber tips to attach to the ends of the metal from coat hangers. This product is exactly what I needed to purchase. The 2mm tips fit perfectly onto the craft projects that I have made with metal coat hangers. This allows the ends to be protected and to protect individuals from the cut ends of the metal wiring.
What I like:
Fast shipping
Fits the metal wiring of metal coat hangers.
Appear to be sufficient for my requirements
50 count is what I need currently.
Hard to find item was finally located

What I found not to my liking.
Price per unit is a little bit high.

hamilton917: I use these for wire tips and they are great:
1). I use flip-up sunglasses because I am too lazy to spend time clipping on the other types and too cheap to buy expensive prescription sunglasses. The problem was the rubber tips would come off and then scratch my expensive progressive lenses. I apply these with Gorilla Gel, let sit to dry and these will never come off.
2) I also have modified masks to have a wire inside some fabric to hold the mask fabric itself away from my nose so I don't suck it in when I breathe. So I use Gorilla Gel to apply these tips to the end of the wires and they don't poke out of the fabric.

L HarrisL Harris: As much as money as they want for these tiny tips one would think they could put a few extra in the ziplock baggie instead of shorting it but I only had 42 cap tips. I've learned to count everything I order from Amazon because it seems I get a lot of items like this that are less than advertised!
Pictured is the 2mm size and the actual count of how many I received. They will go on a toothpick but not snugly just to give you an idea of size.
The price plus our state tax makes these tips thirteen cent a piece which is kind of crazy high for what they amount to especially if they are shorting the bags.
I sometimes use these to cover wire ends when I'm crafting.
