Jesse K.Jesse K.: If you're looking at these wondering if the 2mm version works to replace the rubber nub that fell off the back of a Xbox Elite Series 2 controller that Microsoft claims they can't replace.... yes, they do. Trim them down to just above the height of the sharp piece, put some superglue on the tip of a toothpick, coat the inside of the rubber cap and press down hard. Good luck!

Allan P: I ordered a roof cargo basket for my SUV. The bolts that held it to the roof rails stuck up and I wanted to make sure that they didn't wear a hole into my roof bag. I initially had picked up 2 metal nuts with rounded tops to see how they would work. They worked ok, but thought rubber end caps would protect a bit better. They do, but they are larger than expected.

The metal cap nuts I had purchased were 6mm and fit perfectly. These state they're 6mm, but when I slid them on they were somewhat loose. I have had them on for about a month and they haven't come off, but I wish they were tighter when installed. So far I'm happy with them and I will update if they do fall off. Even if they did, having 100 of them makes it easy to replace any that do!

Allan H.: I use 6 inch by 6 inch remesh 4 foot by 8 foot panels as garden trellis. I cut them to need. They are very durable, stable and adaptable to a large variety of garden plants of all sizes. The only problem is the sharp ends that poke your skin when accidentally touched while picking produce. These 3 mm rubber caps fit over those sharp ends very nicely providing me the protection I need. I first ordered 2.5 mm caps which I was able to work onto the remesh ends, but the 3 mm push on much easier and yet are snug enough to stay in place.
