RavenOwlCoyoteHowl: Use mine for camping, works well. Starts to warp after awhile. Replaced one because I lost the first one. If you are looking for a basic cutting board you found it. Or looking for a camping cutting board to leave with you camping gear. You will be glad it's there when it's time to make smores, it's a cutting board, its a plate, it's a ground table, or something to set your beer on.

Suzanne: I've had this cutting board now for a few weeks, and it's already gotten a lot of use.

Pros: Inexpensive; reasonably well made (but see comment below); large enough for most kitchen tasks; would be a great gift for someone who loves to cook, or who's just learning

Cons: the board I received was a tiny bit warped (I put a bit of cloth under the corner when I use it); people with arthritis or muscular weakness may find this board to be a bit too heavy.

Pro Tip: be sure to pick up a bottle of food-grade mineral oil and use it on your board regularly. If you don't, as with all wood boards, it may splinter and/or split.

Connie: Smooth, gorgeous color, no dry or rough edges, lightweight but still feels very solid, & looks beautiful. Rounded edges & corners give a very nice look to it. Even the groove is completely smooth & rounded. Looks more expensive than it was. Instructions say to hand clean it & oil it w/ food safe mineral oil once a month. I might use a little coconut oil starting out only because that’s what I have, but I think their reasoning is that food oils eventually get rancid. I’ve seen the food safe mineral oil on pharmacy shelves before, so need to puck up a bottle.
Excellent workmanship. Exact right size for my indoor grill to set on to protect my countertop as well.

ThatGuyJosh: I mean, going into this you need to remember you are getting a 12 Dollar cutting board... It came with wood hairs on the top and bottom of it, but I kind of expected that might be the case after some of the reviews.

Personally? I just went out into the shop, got some fine grain sandpaper, and sanded it down to be smooth then re-oiled it.

I've just started using it, really. But, it is holding up well so far. If something horrible happens then I will update the review.

***Update for 7/25/21***

Nothing horrible happened. It has been a year and four months since I got this, and it is still working great. I actually upped my rating to 4 stars. Sure, I had to sand it a bit and do some intensive oiling when I first got it, but it has held up great with semi-regular oiling and fairly heavy regular use. It's a steal for the price you are paying.
