AshleyAshley: I was looking for a nice cutting board to replace all of my tired, old plastic ones. I’ve tried a few wood cutting boards in the past, and they always had fuzziness and little splinters coming off when they’re brand new. This is absolutely beautiful and there are no bits of wood coming off and no sanding to be done. I am no professional, but this feels top tier quality. I was between this and boos and this is just so much prettier. Even the packaging makes it feel so luxurious.

Amazon Customer: Ordered the Alfred walnut board. Very high quality board. The board we received ended up with a very rare issue. Contacted customer service, Tiffany from Sonder LA responded very quickly and everything was resolved quickly and fairly. I am happy I chose my board (it was a big purchase for me) from Sonder LA to use in the kitchen. I know I’ll have it for a very long time with proper care and use!

Cheryl L Clark: I have used this beautiful cutting board for a little over a month now and have had NO issues with splitting!
I keep my butcher block cutting board on my countertop at all times, ready for use, and this cutting board has been such a stunner for my kitchen! I love the end-grain, which naturally hides or "heals" itself from my knife cuts and does not dull my knives. The board was packaged and shipped with careful consideration, including packed in a sturdy box that seemed to be made specifically for the size of the cutting board perfectly and was also lined on the top, bottom and sides with a foam insert to protect during shipping! It was very impressive to me as this was the THIRD end-grain butcher block cutting board I'd ordered in 4 weeks! The other 2 cutting boards I'd ordered from other Amazon sellers, AND RETURNED, were both made in China and did not hold together, the glue to make the boards did not hold and BOTH boards were splitting down the middle and neither were packaged well. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT TO BUY AMERICAN MADE! I LOVE my end-grain cutting board from this seller! Very impressed!

The quality of the cutting board is amazing! It looks stunning in my kitchen, cuts down on my needing to sharpen my knives, and is a great quality board that I expect to last many years to come! The grooves on the edges are nice for catching fluids, just be careful and make sure they are dried out after use. It's also got a dual purpose for presenting food when you flip it over, which I love! Another cool feature is you can place it on its side if you need more counter space and it will stay up.

Dr Gerald Loh: Have been looking everywhere specifically for an end grain cutting board (the end grains move apart when slicing usually) made out of walnut (softer than maple so gentler on knives) that has drip grooves (meats and fruits spills annoy me) on one side for my growing collection of Japanese knives. The 3 little cutout compartments on the other side were icing on the cake. Also, I didn't want to pay the world for it. This board seemed like the perfect fit! Have ordered some food grade mineral oil for this board to help look after it and hope it lasts for quite some time as it would be a pain to warranty it in Australia!
