Ashley: I heard/read so many people saying it smells like maple syrup, it really is true lol! It's pleasant tho, not harsh or anything. I can't speak on the flavor, because I don't consume this (at the moment); I boil or mix the powder with water to put in a spray bottle and apply to my hair/scalp. I have also been using rosemary and lavender and plan to incorporate hibiscus, cloves and amla too! I can appreciate the packaging, feel, resealable and reusable keeping the product fresh. I would buy again!

For reference: I have 4b/4c hair. I think I may be high porosity but idk that stuff gets too complicated for me; I just know most of the time it's dry.. parched. This is like a massage day for these overworked tresses lol 💆🏾♀️
