Jahn: This stuff was great for halloween. Put in mouth to stain my teeth and tongue black. Taste isn't awful, but of course it isn't great either, you get used to it quickly. The real halloween trick was on me the next day when my poop came out hulk colored green! Lasted about two days before everything went back to normal! Great if you want to freak out your doctor!!!

ccraigoccraigo: The dye worked well with the buttercream icing I made, but it does take quite a bit of product to actually make it black. However, it did blend well with my chocolate ganache for the drip. It didn't have any impact on the flavor either. It didn't stain my hands bad, but it was difficult to get off the cake board, which left it looking messy.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: **EDIT: I saw someone say it turned their mouth black, but we didn’t have this problem. The only time it stained a little was when I was mixing it in.**
My daughter’s birthday party had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic so I tried to make sure she had a good time here at home for her 11th birthday. Her party theme was Stranger Things and since we had to cancel her cake, I attempted to make it. The color was easy to mix with the fondant and it didn’t give it a weird or nasty taste. The color got on a few things (my hands included) but it was easy to remove and didn’t stain. What I had in mind was a cake made of fondant, black all over with the red letters on top and a red line around the bottom with the characters. Making it was harder than I thought so after I finished the letters I stopped lol. She loved it and it was delicious.
