Hannah Faye Durrant: Used to colour homemade playdough with children. Very vibrant colours that don’t stain little hands! Cannot comment on flavour as obviously we didn’t eat the playdough!

KellyKelly: Im not food coloring expert but these are super pigmented and rich colors. My daughter looks forward to baking since the box is so cute and are super easy to use. I will say its easy to over drop color so I’d keep an eye on that if you want any pastels.

For average needs ... this will work great.

I can't find my ruler .. but I think the box is about 3.5 inches square ... give or take.

E. NelsonE. Nelson: I needed some more food coloring to decorate sugar cookies for halloween. I decided to try these and they did the trick. I will say that the black didn't end up being a dark black--more of a dark grey, but it worked and I also used the orange and it worked well. The squirt bottles they were in were easy to use and I didn't end up with dye all over my hands like I have sometimes when I've used the gel food coloring. This was a nice set and had all the colors that I need.

GnemikGnemik: Apparently 'we' agreed to watch her friend's kids tomorrow. So, one of the fun activities will be playing with food dough/clay. She read a recipe for food dough that is like clay. She adjusted it, and plans to have the kids design multi-colored cookies, which she'll bake after they 'play' with the dough.
So, this set of food coloring bottles are perfect to color the dough. She made a test batch of dough, and separated it into small batches. Adding a few drops was enough to add appealing colors to the dough. (You can mix the colors or dough, to attain additional colors/shades.)
Even the graphic design on the box is kid friendly, with the rainbow and unicorn. On the back, and on the bottles, badges for FDA, MSDS and CE are displayed. So, there is a good level of confidence in the quality of the coloring.
While it was a bit odd to eat a purple, pink and green cookie, but, it tasted fine (it was an oatmeal raisin cookie with chocolate chips). So, her testing of the dough with food coloring is a success. She has different toppings to add to the dough.
The food coloring is exactly as expected. It's concentrated, so a little goes a long way. In fact, I would suggest adding it...

PhAnMaLePhAnMaLe: I had a good clear out of my cake cupboard after baking for my granddaughter and then son's birthday cakes and noticed my food pastes were close to expiry.
My grandaughters cake was a unicorn so these inspired me and I'm happy to say that the production date was printed June and I received in July. They have a 2 year expiry, but as I am "chief baker" in our family, these will be well used in that time!
As they are liquid rather than paste, they can be used for liquid icings and cake mixes, they will not work well for fondant pastes.
I'm going to give them a little go in my resin and candle mixes too - I'll update my review with my findings, although of course theirain use is for edible food colourings.
Some nice choices of colours and it's nice to see black which will work great with Halloween fast approaching!
Good value at around just 60p a bottle at time of purchase 🙂
