lorie: I love this set, so much better than the solid tip burners, instant improvement of finished work. My only issue is the handle gets very hot. The temperature is very easily and rapidly adjusted, I don’t have to wait for minutes every time I change the temp setting, and it cools completely in less than a minute

TM!: The unit works great. I wish it came with some way to organize the tips and a chart to let me know the intended purpose since I am new to woodburning. Be aware the gourd is about as big as your thumb so if you were hoping to practice on it, it will be shortlived... same with the little wood "coasters"...very thin and not really coasters but okay to practice on.

Laura: I have used this several times and watched as my grandchildren (ages 9 and 15) used it. I found it to be much lighter to hold and use than the brass wood burners. There is a learning curve and one must follow the instructions to a T in order for the tips to heat properly. My first attempt the tip was not seated properly but once I made the adjustment all is fine. I believe if I take proper care this item will last me a long time.
