This is a great fly zapper. If you use the stand and keep it plugged in and turned on it attracts flies and kills them constantly. Definitely worth the $20 I spent. I've had it almost a year. No need to wave it around the kill them, although you definitely can do that as well. I keep it running day and night although when it "cooks" the flies they do tend to smell, but that's temporary. It's much sturdier than most. Great find.

Few weeks ago my apartment was infested with those fruit flies, my husband order this in a desperate attempt to get rid of them as those flies are annoying, and surprisingly it works amazing, we were able to get rid of all of them. We keep it on at night and its so satisfying hearing them get zap.. recommend..

Update: surprisingly loud zap lol lets u know its working. stationary use in stand requires constant charge but heat in handle is not an issue. flying insects being kept at bay. would buy again.
sticky glue on info page stuck to thin aluminum grating which is very sharp, blue uv lighting does not radiate thru all the clear plastic under grating so attraction is limited, usb-c used for continuous operation makes the handle hot, using product for soil gnat flies, no evidence of zapping yet... fear this is due to be returned for refund. will update...
