axelle D: J'ai un aquarium de 4 gallons, je ne trouvais rien d autre pour le nettoyer . Autant pour vider l'eau cela convient car cela va vite mais les ustensiles sont trop gros et la distance entre l appareil et le bout du tuyau ainsi que l interrupteur d alimentation électrique sont trop éloignés pour être capable de la faire seule. De plus je ne trouve pas les accessoires très efficaces... Le bec de canard est en plastique grossier.et n aspire pas énormément. Pour mon aquarium cet appareil est trop gros. C'est dommage .

Amanda: This is good if your suctioning water out from the gravel to get the dirt and feces out but the cover things that are supposed to remove dirt from the water going back in doesn’t work good at all. I had to buy extra soc things and have to change them literally every minute and even then my tank still gets foggy and filthy looking.

Shri: Everything is good about this purchase. Strong motor, multi functions. I tried changing water, cleaning algae and sucking dirt and faeces. Does good job for the first time. The only disadvantage is the plastic stick - good length but not solid. Prone to break if you do it hard. Perhaps they should change it to a thicker one.

Dawn Coursey: I am a newbie aquarium hobbyist. I was nervous about my first tank cleaning, but this vacuum made my tank sparkle! I disagreed with other reviews that say the parts are cheaply made, or it doesn’t clean gravel good.
The parts are made out of exactly what they need to be to get the job done and to get the cost at a good point. I have zero qualms with the construction.
My tank is 29 gallons and after dropping an algae tab to feed my snail at the recommendation of the pet store owner, EVERYTHING was covered in algae. This vacuum was amazing and the process was cathartic.
For the one saying that the gravel tube isn’t long enough I think there is a finesse to how to work it. I would hover over the gravel and watch the poop flow up the tube. I think if you’re having trouble with the gravel filling up the tube, you’re trying to do too much at once, because waste can’t flow through gravel..
I quickly learned how to gauge just the right amount of suction to get the waste out of the gravel and I was very happy with the results!
A must buy! If you’re on the fence, I would say go for it. I was extremely anxious about how this was going to perform and how laborious...

- Good suction power, too strong sometimes,
- Long extension
- Quiet
- Lots of accessories

Cons:
- Gravel adapter is a bit too short, the gravel can suck up quickly by the pump
- Not conventional hose
- The pump need to be submerged to work, I was going to use it as an inline pump since it's so quiet and powerful
- Hard to get to tight places since the pump head is sitting very low to the gravel

Andrea: I purchased a different vacuum system that was double the cost of this one (won’t mention here, the one), but it was 100% frustrating to use let alone it leaked and had poor suction. I found this one and the 1st time trying it I found it to be absolutely amazing!! I got the job done in 1/2 the time. There was very little mess to clean up. The filter bag contained the debris. No dripping or leaking and getting fish water everywhere!!! I can’t express how happy I am!!! I have substrate; it’s hard to clean, but this system did an amazing job with no loss of my substrate ! I highly recommend this tool !!!! I LOVE IT! It’s easy to use and fast!!!!!

Hosedog: I have tried a lot of aquarium vacuum products, although this is the first electric one and the first one with a mesh bag to catch waste. I use sand in two of my three tanks, and the other vacs suck up too much sand. This one will suck up some finer sand, but you can stir up the bottom to get things off the sand and it sucks up food and waste extremely well. It has adjustable suction and it's plenty powerful. It's also well made, except for one caution: the elbow piece cracked when I pressed it onto the pump. The instructions say to "forcefully" install the water pipe, but make sure you don't do that with the elbow!

isabelle patenaude: Cette pompe est très efficace pour nettoyer, vider et emplir l'aquarium.
J'ai un gros aquarium de 65 gallons et le temps nécessaire pour le nettoyer est de moitié en comparaison avec mon ancienne pompe manuelle.
Le petit cahier explicatif est assez clair.
