AngieeA: The machine was very complete. it came with a bunch of integrated designs, backup needles, bobbins and fonts even some kanji designs and meanings.

The problem began when I needed a big design embroidered, the machine didnt had a hoop big enough. I had bought a set of hoops and learn the hard way that the machine had a small area and used a repositional hoop. that meant that I had to split the logo in half and be very accurate with the embroidery.

For the price it is not a bad machine. It's good for small designs. but if you want a big complex project I suggest saving up for a more expensive one with more work area.

David: The machine has a bit of a learning curve, and I've found that it's been a bit of a hassle to use. I would say it's good for beginners learning embroidery, but I found it absolutely necessary to look up video guides to make sure I was setting everything up correctly.

Robin: I confess that I purchased this machine for one thing only - my other domestic machines cannot do embroidery and I wanted to make nicer labels for my quilts, so I only purchased it for the embroidery capability. It arrived yesterday and I was eager to play with my new toy. Unboxed it, set it up, watched a couple of videos on YouTube, and powered it up. BUT the touch screen was non-responsive, the buttons weren't responsive, and the Start/Stop button on the front was glowing red indicating that the machine cannot sew. I wasn't able to get support directly through the Brother site, so I called the dealer where I bought my longarm (she also sells higher-end Brother machines) and got a phone number from them. When I called, we talked about it, I did what the customer service rep recommended, and there was no change. I'm in the process of boxing it up to return to Amazon.

That said, there are many glowing reviews of this machine, and it's at a great price point, so I plan to purchase another one directly from the Brother site where it will be much easier to get support, and I'll try again.

Ma. del Carmen Basurto Sánchez: Me encanta mi máquina!!! Llevo 6 meses con ella y he realizado bordados muy bonitos. Hay que tener presente que borda con el bastidor, en espacio máximo de 10 x 10 cm. En lo personal, me hubiera encantado más grande el espacio para bordar, pero aún así, estoy encantada. Además realiza puntadas hermosas de bordado, vale mucho la pena ésta máquina 😍😍

Victoria YuVictoria Yu: I've been using sewing machines for about 10 years, and wanted to branch out into custom embroidery. This machine is absolutely infuriating in everything it can't do for the price I paid. The touchscreen looks cool, but makes it hard to browse and select embroidery stitches. It doesn't have the Brother "My Custom Stitch" feature, so you can't make your own decorative stitches. THE SPOOL HOLDER DOESN'T HOLD BIG THREAD CONES, SO I HAD TO TAPE A PAINTBRUSH TO THE SIDE.

The embroidery frame is only 4x4 inches wide, which isn't much so you have to constantly move the frame if you want to embroider, say, a line of text. When it came out wrong, at first I thought I was just moving and positioning the fabric incorrectly. ACTUALLY, every time you type out a word in the machine, it positions it a little higher or lower every time depending on the letters, so even if you move the fabric perfectly laterally, the text still moves up or down (see the middle-left square in the second picture for the best example). Using the machine is easy, getting it to do what you want to do is the hard part.

Annie Marie: I ordered it in January 2021, and got it on time, well packaged with the machine and all it's accessories intact. I cannot remember the last time I was that excited while waiting for an order.

This machine is a beauty to behold (sometimes I just sit and look at it and thank my Lucky stars I ordered it from Amazon). It is a joy to sew with as it sews like a dream😍. It was love at first sight for me, yes...I fell in love with my machine and I fell real hard. I have done some monogramming with it and it came out so beautiful. I have also mended clothes and sewn simple projects with it and it did the job with ease. The fact that it runs quietly and the led light shines so bright is a given.

A good piece of advice though, run away from cheap and bad threads because it hates it. I will continue to rock my machine and I will give an update on its durability and usage later.

If you are looking for an all round no stress machine, look no further, just order this machine and thank me later. Believe me you will become the fashionista of your dreams as it can handle most projects and materials like denim, cotton, polyester etc. I simply adore my brother SE600 and you...
