VICTORIA VERZILLI: I love this embroidery machine but it took quite a while to learn how to use it. I don't like to watch videoes but that was really the only way to learn about it. Finally i am able to embroider with it. Very different from my other machine.

24carrotgold: I've been sewing for over 60 years. This machine has added new excitement to my hobby. I am embellishing quilts, baby items and even toilet paper with funny sayings. Easy to use and plenty of YouTube videos to learn from. Lots of fun and very practical.

Mary D. Jarman Karr: Glad I took the plunge with this one after my d4000's mother board failed. I was able to convert some ofy designs easily in my embroidery app and put them all on the thumb drive. Hint - if you have a lot of designs, think about putting them into folders on the thumb drive. It makes it much easier to locate the design you want. Haven't worked with the internet connection to my desktop yet. Also, would love to delete the designs that came on the sewing machine to make room for my most used designs. Hoping the internet connection will allow that.

ShoeHoundShoeHound: I'm still using my Brother SE400 but wanted a larger hoop. My only complaint is Brother changed the hoops. For that reason I give 4 stars. I find this new hoop difficult to attach. I'm disappointed that I have to repurchase all my hoops again because they're not interchangeable. Otherwise I'm satisfied with my PE800. I am using it for myself and family only. I sew for pleasure. I'll update with pictures after I've had a chance to use it. Will add that it was easy to learn and use. The instruction book is very helpful. Appreciate the 90wt bobbin thread.
Update: Have given 5 stars. Have attached picture of test stitch out. Came out perfect from the machine. Four stars for me because even though I used yellow chalk to mark my pattern I still got it slightly crooked. Practice makes perfect. I still find attaching the hook problematic but no longer worth losing a whole star.
