Ms. S. Rawden: Great story , passed to friends

Em: A well written fiction based off of true stories and facts surrounding the German attacks and siege in France. Stories of bravery and heroism from the darkest places of fear and stories that need to be retold in hopes history will never repeat itself.

Lila Meinhardt: This was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! The WW2 plot and characters were so realistic. Soraya Lane did a great job, this book was hard to put down!

Ms. S. Garcia: I really enjoyed reading about the resilience of people, especially women in grave situations. This is a great read, I was cheering for all of them, hoping that they would make it. Knowing that so many didn’t.

Rebecca Weeks: I could not put this book down! Two days to read it and cried and sad the story ended…looked up front the pages forgetting where I was. This is a good book. Read it if you like historical fiction

Pournima Chitale.: I found this book to be un-put-downable. The tension it maintains about wartime France is amazing. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

mona14: It moved quickly from the start. It kept me completely inspired to learn about this time period, the War in Germany, & then as Hitler sent planes over England!! It was so devastating, but also showed the heart of the "free" world who cared finally about this ugly situation by the Nazi's!!

Kindle Customersheila Robinson: This war story was so realistic that I had a hard time putting it down.My first husband served in the Royal Norfolk Regiment and told me many stories one of them being a regiment who mysteriously disappeared and this book made me wonder if this was what happened to them. Also as an older person, the memories of the war are still in my mind.A well written book, very realistic, and giving an insight to the heroic things that happened in those times. Will look for more of this writer's books and recommend this book to both men and women.

Maria QH: Beautifully written and also narrated. I loved the fact it was easy to read, as I am very interested in this time period but find it difficult to digest at times. So much senseless death and brutality, mass murder and heartless nazism! The author was able to introduce a real mass murder event without giving me nightmarish details.
Bravo.
Next? Another book by the same author, of course.
