Mark D: First, let me say the book has amazing artwork. I found it to have thought provoking content for the Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) player and dungeon master. They succeeded in building a rich and interesting world. The book is well organized. Quality was top-notch. I had no issues with the book itself.
For anyone not familiar with Theros, think of this like D&Ds take on Greek mythology. If you're thinking about giving it as a gift, it would be perfect for someone interested in that.
If I do have one point of feedback, I would have liked to see improvements in the book's monster manual. More monsters unique to Theros, especially for new characters to fight, would have been great. I would have also like to have seen different "end" bosses. At least for me, only one captured the sprit of a truly awe-inspiring boss from Greek mythology.
Overall, I love it. A great book for a D&D player.

Sol Glos: I'm a fan of mythology. Grew up on Xena and Hercules, the Odyssey, Troy, all of that stuff.
I never played MTG during the Theros sets. Wasn't a fan of Ravnica, but thought I'd give this book a read.
The art is great. I'm not sure how much they ripped from cards, but it's really very good all around, and the book is actually pretty solid.
Some nice races and subclasses that can be used in other settings (Not you Centaur, get back to Theros you weirdo).
The patron system really shines in this. Totally awesome. The whole setting sort of revolves being caught up in the schemes of the gods and having world changing adventures.
Will I ever run a game primarily in Theros? Probably not. The setting seems like it's made for high level adventure and there's not a whole lot of setting defining stuff for lower levels.
The underworld is cool as hell though and would work in any setting you want to squish it into. Great option for carrying on after a TPK.

J. Messinger: I didn't know I needed an ancient Greek setting, but the more time I spend with this book, the more I enjoy it. I especially enjoy the presentation -- the art is phenomenal, and I'm really digging the art style that paints the stars of the night sky over the monsters and heroes of the land.
The pantheons are interesting, and for anyone who enjoys the richness of Forgotten Realm's deities it will give you even more ideas for how to put meaningful religious interactions and causes into your games.
Finally, I want to give two thumbs up for the representation in the art and prose. You'll find people of all colors and races, male nymphs, and though it took me about three reads to notice it, gay heroes, too! It makes the world feel more inclusive, and to me it sends a heartwarming message that magic and imagination belong to everyone.

Sharptiger Rocker: I saw this product while browsing through dnd materials available on Amazon and, being a huge fan of both dnd and Greek myth, thought it seemed intriguing. In fact, I've been trying to develop a full blown home-brew Greek myth campaign for many years but have hit many proverbial roadblocks along the way.
When I saw this product, I thought that it might answer some questions that I've been trying to tackle in my own home-brew as well as provide some useful resources. It succeeded in the latter but not the former in my case.
What I expected was a Greek myth campaign setting that was actually set in Ancient Greece with the Olympian gods as the deities and all the bronze age works. What I got was a totally original Greek myth-ish setting that was apparently drawn from some Magic the Gathering resources. The map is original, the myths are original (though most are clearly based on actual mythology) and the gods are completely original. The closest thing to any real Greek mythology herein, are some of the monsters.
All that being said, this book is beautifully done. The art is tremendous (as it has been with most 5e materials) and the work put into the setting is...

DM Badger: A 2020 'greek' themed release for ongoing campaigns in D&D 5th Edition. Clocking in at 256 pages it bursting at the seems on information.
I have to mention the artwork first, its a delight to behold.
Races available are the Centaur, Leonin, Minotaur, Satyr & Triton.
A nice breakdown of the pantheon of Theros.
A good collection of the realms surrounding the area and lore found within them.
Some 50 odd pages dedicated to helping you craft your adventures for your group. 15 area with high quality maps, plots, hooks and such.
Some good information on how to run water & underworld type adventures in it.
A ten page adventure, which looks like it would take somewhere between 3 and 6 hours to complete depending on group siize and playstyle.
51 pages of monsters new and old, its fair to say that of the new monster a good proportion are reworked old monsters. Monsters that have already appeared in the Monster Manual have no stat blocks in this book but rather only the new monsters.
I know I already mentioned the artwork but it truly is great.
This book is a fantastic addition to any DM source library. Its fairly well rounded and has a ton of stuff...

Austin: The Theros setting is just fantastic. This book really thought of everything for creating a legit Greek Mythology setting adventure, focusing on heroic feats, a rich pantheon of gods who directly influence the world, and creatures and races that just fit.
The book starts out by introducing 5 new races, 1 new background, and 2 new subclasses. The races are all great, except satyrs are slightly overpowered since they have advantage on all saving throws against spells. The subclasses and background are excellent.
The bulk of the book is spent on talking about the gods. I was so impressed with how deep the book goes into each one. Each of the 15 gods has a section on influence, goals, relationships with other gods, forms of worship, myths, characteristics of the god's champions (alignments, common classes, cleric domains, and backgrounds), how to gain or lose the god's favor, ideals of PCs who worship the god, special unlockable abilities for different tiers of Piety, ideas for adventures based on a party who follows the god, ideas for adventures based on that god being a villain in a campaign, monsters the god uses to further his or her purposes, omens, divine schemes,...
