Cleo S: I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Dungeons and Dragons and these four books have been so helpful! At first I was worried that I would be too overwhelmed by the information inside, but that hasn't been the case whatsoever. Whenever I feel like writing up a new character sheet or refreshing my memory about certain in-game aspects, I simply flick through the pages and find what I'm looking for with ease. I'd say this book is more than suitable for younger players and recommend you purchase!

Manitus: My kids (6-9) heard their teenage cousin playing Dungeons & Dragons and they wanted to try. I helped them make characters using D&D Beyond online (free) and made an age-appropriate adventure. They loved it and wanted more. I got this boxed set so they could have their own set of age-appropriate reference guides. They love the pictures and reading about different characters, settings, and creatures. Worth the buy!

Christina: I bought this for my young one because I thought it would help in “showing” them what D&D is about. The art is awesome and the writing can help ANY curious D&D beginner see and grasp what the enthusiast can’t explain sometimes.

It is obviously something better than this; it’s like an easily digestible Players Handbook, Monster Manual, and Dungeon Masters Guide for ANY new player.

I’ll have to buy another collection because I will be handing them “Warriors and Weapons” and “Wizards and Spells” instead of the daunting PHB.
Now granted it doesn’t have the rules throughout but I can’t wait to see how it plays out when I introduce new people to D&D.
