Amazon Customer: The initial part of this book explores the clash between your conscious and subconscious mind. It shows how each works to create your own reality and by knowing the rules, one can manipulate and alter a more desirable reality outcome.

The deeper you get into the reading, the more you will notice there is a Christian bend to the philosophy. The two extra books at the end or also directed more towards religion in some sense which was disappointing to me. But overall I get the point for the reasoning behind the machine. The book could have been condensed down to about half it’s size and get the same ideology across.

Corinne, Ontario, Canada: I first read The Power of your Subconscious Mind in the early 80's and although I've read similar books since then, it still remains for me the best book on the subject of programming one's own subconscious mind. I'm not a believer in the God of the Bible who seems to have all of the worst human traits - anger, jealousy, vengeance - and I see human life as just tiny brief sparks in comparison to the vastness of the Universe, while nevertheless equally important in the larger scheme of things and worth experiencing in the best way possible. It's only human to be influenced by negativitiy in the media, in general conversation, and by the gratuitous dire warnings of well-meaning friends and family to the point where we unwittingly bring upon ourselves the very things we fear. Learning how to be healthy and enjoy life, by simply removing any doubt that it's possible, is an ongoing process over a lifetime, but well worth the effort. I'm very glad to now have Joseph Murphy's wisdom on my Kindle.
