Lizzy Agatha: A very useful book, full of science and observation, which allows you, the reader, to affect real and lasting change, which can lead to improved health, in both body and mind. you will read it more than once.

Kindle Customer: The book starts from anchoring into science onto explaining some of the most deep and complex aspects about oneself without ever feeling fluffy of theoretical. I loved the hands on approach and the learnings from incredible research. Can't recommend this book enough to anyone into mental health that also has a highly critical and analytical brain.

Akanksha Singh Bisen: I have been through multiple anxiety and panic attacks and the experience left me traumatized every time. I read a few self help books to get my mind conditioned to seeing the brighter side of things but it didn't work.
I was listening to a podcast one day, where Joe Dispenza was a guest and his theory on how the human brain works when stressed ++ got me curious.
I bought the book and after completing it, I can confidently say - I now understand the what, why and how of the things that have been happening to me. I am a science girl and therefore needed a bit of theory to reflect on my experiences.
This is a great read, whether you have reasons to change or not. I'd read it again just to remember the ground work of the human mind.
FYI. The book is written in conversation style making it very easy to read and understand.
Hope you make the decision to read. It's worth your time.

Kay Crista: I read the book a month ago and have been doing the morning meditations every single day because I can feel the difference already in my life. I had been struggling with exhaustion, depression and pain, but feel a return of energy, enthusiasm, and gratitude to be alive. I can feel myself coming back to life. I am excited to live into new possibilities.

Ron Immink: Free your mind of being yourself
by Ron Immink on December 20, 2018 in Blog
“The Greatest Habit You Can Ever Break Is the Habit of Being Yourself” is a great book about your mind, brain imaging, neuroplasticity, epigenetics, psychoneuroimmunology, quantum entanglement, neurochemicals, and meditation
The power of the mind
You need to embrace the concept that your (subjective) mind has an effect on your (objective) world. The latest research supports the notion that we have a natural ability to change the brain and body by thought alone. In fact, your thoughts have consequences so great that they create your reality.
Quantum physics
The most fundamental components of our so-called physical world are both waves (energy) and particles (physical matter), depending on the mind of the observer. What quantum physicists discovered was that the person observing (or measuring) the tiny particles that make up atoms affect the behaviour of energy and matter.
Observer effect
In other words, a particle cannot manifest in reality—that is, ordinary space-time as we know it—until we observe it. Quantum physics calls this phenomenon “collapse...

Rachael: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One is the second bestselling book by Dr. Joe Dispenza. His first book, Evolve Your Brain, explained the concept of neuroplasticity and how one can alter the brain itself based on thought and feeling. As his second best-selling book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, also explores the practice of neuroplasticity. However, rather than just an explanation of neurplasticity, this book goes deeper into the subject of how to actually apply the practice to one's life, as well as how to achieve the benefits of the science. Dr. Joe Dispenza has a very extensive background in the sciences. He earned his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in neurobiology from Life University in Atlanta Georgia and went on for his Doctor of Chiropractic. He then went on with postgraduate education studying neurology, neuroscience, brain function and chemistry, cellular biology, memory formation and aging and longevity. Dr. Dispenza currently runs a chiropractic clinic in Olympia Washington while also holding conferences and seminars in order to teach his method of carrying out neuroplasticity all over the world. Not only have...

Karin Sokel: I could write my own book about the many reasons why anyone with a human brain and body - and a desire to be happy - should read this groundbreaking book. Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself is "the manual" for those who want to live a truly empowered life. Combining the fields of quantum physics, neuroscience, biology, and genetics, Dr. Joe Dispenza bridges the gap between science and spirituality as he masterfully teaches his readers how to create change and a new reality for oneself. Why is this important to understand and implement? Because by the time you reach the age of 35, Dr. Dispenza shares in his book, you've memorized your own set of behaviors, emotional reactions, and thought patterns that have become 95% of your identity, which means 95% of who you are BEING is sub-conscious and automatic! By repeating the same thoughts and actions every day after day, "we begin to hard wire our brain into very specific patterns that reflect our external world." We're most often not even aware that we've developed habits for everything. As the saying goes, we ARE creatures of habit. So, most will imagine a great vision, dream or objective, only to be sidetracked by the habits...
